Hey are you mixing ethanol to achieve running the apr 100 octane tune? Like mixing 93 pump and ethanol to run 100 octane? If you are how safe is that? Love the build btw👍🏻

Looking good man! My (‘13) baby is just starting her journey but will get to this point in a few years. Just a Roc Euro and Chipwerke Pro atm for performance... going soon to my tuner for full APR 93 SP stage II and TCU, then next year is cooling and DP and some kind of solution for cats, then the final piece will eventually be the Ultra/SC Port and the rest of the exhaust (mostly sound from what I’ve read and seen on dyno sheets and trap speeds, so low on list). Going in the actual stages except I’m skipping right to Stage II because the SC pulley is cheap and still won’t torture the cats or cooling. Other than that she’s sitting on AG M590 19x9.5 on the KW coils for Adaptive Suspension. Going to do mounts, Alu-Kruez, a set of beefy sways and some bushing inserts and that’s all I need in a street car that’s daily driven imo. Love your car bro and hope to get close to your baby eventually.

Beautiful S4 Sir! I have a similarly modded S5 in 6MT. I can't find the honeycomb fog light surrounds anywhere! Where did you find them? I love the idea of running additional cold air into the air box and I'll bet it helps with IATs at speed tremendously. I would love to copy you....IF I COULD JUST FIND THE FOG LIGHT SURROUNDS!!! lol

That’s crazy man I live very close to Naperville! I recently just bought a 2014 s4 with IE Dual pulley e40 mix with the ported supercharger and IE 80mm throttle bottle kit. I’m more curious to learn about these cars and how much hp my car really has. We should go for a cruise !

Hey man your videos got me into making modifications to my s4. I'm a noob though.. When you say test pipes what is this exactly? What about stock cats? If I were to get a new exhaust system would that be sufficient? I have stage 2 single pulley.

Depends on what you are trying to do. You don't really need an exhaust on these cars, people do them for weight reduction and sound basically. Test pipes are sold by RedStar, Jhm and a few others. They replace the stock cats. You'll get a CEL if you don't do something about the 02 down there.

Jhm full replacement unit. The apr one bolts on to the stock unit that's known to fail with mileage and age.

@@olu I do not think that is accurate... past a set point the maps switch to open loop. It would blow up if it was looking at o2 sensor output for fueling at WOT... not accurate / fast enough.

Upstream 02s are wideband sensors. Plenty fast. The limits are way higher. It can handle any combo PR and ported blower your tiny TVS1320 can throw at it. TVS17XX or equivalent is where trouble starts.

@@olu Regardless of super charger choice, I am not aware of any car in production that uses closed loop for engine control outside of idle / low rpm conditions.

Hey so I just got my ‘16 S4 Stage 2 with Dual Pulleys. The two absolute mods that I must do is Intercooler/heat exhchanger And test pipes correct? I will be going ultra charger soon as I already purchased that. I just don’t want my car to blow up lol

So to make it dual pulley you recommend getting the APR drive pulley 57mm and the JHM 187mm HD Overdrive?? Are there any modifications needed?

Yup, follow the tuners recommended hardware. (DP, Intake, heat exchanger, etc) A lot of tuners will vary from each other.

I have stage 1 apr ecu , intake, TCU tune, and exhaust from awe. From my understanding to go to stage two you do the dual pully, the new ecu which is included, new heat exchanger and test pipes. You can add ultra charger at the end too. But you said the full crank pully instead of the APR standard one what exactly do you mean by that ? Looking to go stage 2 at somepoint just not sure when and if I under it correctly.

Yes, my apologies, I mean full crank pulley (it is a replacement for the stock crank pulley, as opposed to APR's version that attaches to the stock crank pulley.

Does headers actually make a difference on these beauties? I want to get headers for my s5 but, if it shows little to no power gains I can put my money towards what will.

Just seeing this! KZfaq notifications is terrible about letting me know. Anyway, yes headers make power, but like you said...it's minimal andddd it's major job (like 1k labor or so?) Suppose you could just do it yourself

I meant the entire crank pulley, instead of the APR add on to the stock pulley

The stock crank pulley fails so he means replacing it with a solid crank pulley option.I had my stock crank pulley go while I was stock.You can do multiple things depending on what you want to do.I went with the 207mm jhm crank which is a dual pulley ratio.You can do a single pulley ratio so do alot of research to achieve your goal with this platform.

Before doing my build, I’m taking out my engine and doing a whole maintenance on everything, she has 80k on it. Gonna get a new clutch and and maybe a new tranny, she’s a 6speed. After I put the 3.0 back in, should the first 3 things I do be dual pully ? HX ? And 034 stage ?

I personally think the best performance bang for buck would be a stage 1 tune, a really aggressive ported blower and HX.

Honestly I think you should improve cooling, log and do some maintenance before going to stage 2 (single or dual).

@@olu I'm asking because reading your mod list is hard to get 600 hp. My friends have an even bigger ratio and it's hard to break the 600 hp barrier with normal fuel, I know because I have a car with such an engine

Q7 transmissions are different. Some Q7s also have different superchargers. I highly suggest some additional research before pulling the trigger.

The catalyst is not on the downpipe in these cars.....the oem catalytic converters are directly attached to the OEM manifold. Test pipe replaces the cat, NOT downpipe.

This is not 600 crank HP it is at maximum 500hp at MAXIMUM more likely 475-500hp... You are not even runing ethanol or WMI, whats wrong with you to put such a high number when it's not even close.
