In this lecture, Dr Mike explains the role of the essential reproductive hormones, Luteinizing hormone (LH) and Follicle Stimulating Hormone (FSH) in both the male and female reproductive systems.
This lecture covers; sperm and testosterone production, oocyte maturation, estrogen and progesterone production, and ovulation.

Years ago I used the rhythm method to get pregnant instead of birth control and I learned about the follicle stimulating hormone and lutenizing hormone. I also learned about your mucus too.

Sorry Dr, l did the hormone blood test during two days of my period for the result for both are fsh is 4.2 and Lh is 3.6 are normal.please answer me.

Hi Doctor, I'm a 51-year-old male and I recently got my blood test results. My FSH was 16.8 (clinic's high: 12.4) and LH was 9.9 (clinic's high: 8.6). Are these levels being higher than the clinic's marked highs something to be concerned about?
