Folliculitis decalvans is an inflammation of the hair follicle that leads to bogginess or induration of involved parts of the scalp along with pustules, erosions, crusts, ulcers, and scale.[1]: 649 [2]: 760-1  It begins at a central point and spreads outward, leaving scarring, sores, and, due to the inflammation, hair loss in its wake.[3] No permanent cure has been found for this condition, but there is promise in a regimen of dual therapy with rifampin 300 mg twice daily and clindamycin 300 mg twice daily. This new treatment can be used to control the condition, and tests have indicated that after 3 to 5 months long uninterrupted courses of treatment, many patients have seen limited to no recurrence.[4] There is no certainty about the cause of this disorder, but the bacterial species Staphylococcus aureus has a central role and can be detected in the lesions of most patients. It is unclear if another primarily sterile process with secondary colonization by Staphylococcus aureus is present, or if Staphylococcus aureus starts the process by causing a strong immune reaction. Another possibility is that Staphylococcus aureus produces toxins that act as superantigens which directly activate the T-cells over the variable domain of T-cell receptors. Nonetheless Staphylococcus aureus can by found in almost all patients affected by this disorder, while it is detected in only 20-30% of non-affected people.
As Staphylococcus aureus is not always found in people with folliculitis decalvans, other factors must be present. Through examinations in families it was found that there is a family connection to the occurrences, which leads to the conclusion that there is a genetic predisposition for it; for example, patients with folliculitis decalvans could have a hereditary different opening of the hair follicle that could facilitate the lodging of the bacteria. Immunologically, another possibility is that especially strong intercellular fixation protein ICAM-1 contributes to inflammation with its strong effect of attracting white blood cells such as granulocytes and lymphocytes.

I love how they love to tell people there is no cure. I prayed to The Most High and He gave me the cure. It was able to regrow hair on my then 6 year olds head where they said due to scarring hair will never grow there again. With men it is impossible, but with Yah All things are possible 👏🏿👏🏿👏🏿

@@Perlapreciosa7679 it would be advisable to stop using shampoo and conditioner and make you own. What I made for my daughter was for shampoo 1 yellow onion as it has the most sulfur ( hair growth and cleanser) 2 cloves of garlic to help kill bacteria and stop infection 3-5 tbs honey to provide mositure and heal scaring on the scalp Optional ingredients (mix and match according to your needs): Ginger to help stop inflammation Lavender to promote hair growth Rosemary to promote hair growth Fenugreek to promote hair growth Aloe Vera to heal, moisture, fight inflammation Oatmeal to heal add moisture and fight inflammation Quinoa as a foaming soap and anti inflammation Directions: Chop onions into large piece. Crush garlic with flat part of knife. Let them set for 15 min before boiling to release a compound that activates and extends the growing phase in hair. Then place in medium pot of boiling water and wait for 15-20 minute. Take off stove then add all the optional ingredients. I never used them all at once. Consistency is the key. Just pick 3 and move on. However there will be no problem if you add all optionals, it just some would be redundant. Let water cool. Strain it and add the honey in this stage. It must be 100% real honey. Put mixture in spray bottle or condiment bottle for easy application. Apply to hair and leave on for 1hr before rinsing. After one month youll only need to leave on for 5-10 min. Then rinse out with only water. You will see results in 2 weeks new hair growth. In the 1st wash you will feel the difference in your hair and notice a slow down of the crust growth. To make the conditioner. Coconut milk or coconut cream depending on how dry your hair is. If not dry use coconut milk Banana purée with or without oatmeal. We used gerber. Honey 5-8 tbs deepending on how dry your hair is. Just mix together. If you have extra add ice and its a tasty smoothie. Leave in for 1 hour or overnight. Same after 1 month you can leave in for 5-10 min. Rinse with water only. All ingredients are scientifically backed. Please try it and update me. Fyi the onion tea is also good to drink and it dont taste like onions and garlic.

@@Perlapreciosa7679 no problem. If you are interested, stop using store bought shampoo and conditioner and make your own. Boil 2 cloves of garlic and 1 yellow onion for 15-20 minutes. For a more powerful remedy add anyone of these: lavender, rosemary, oregano, parsley, tea tree oil, fenugreek, quinoa or ginger. Strain add 3-5 tbs of honey after it cools a bit. Use as shampoo once to 3 times a week. Leave in for at least 15 minutes to 1 hr then rinse. The conditioner was my daughters favorite. Though we drank any extra ”shampoo" by adding more honey, the conditioning smoothie was delicious as well. Just add more honey and Ice to the extras and blend. You need 1 can of coconut cream or milk depending on how dry and think your hair is. Cream for very dry hair. 1 container or jar (big ones) of banana puree baby food. I used Gerber. And 5-8 tbs of honey depending on how dry your hair is. Mix and apply as conditioner. Leave on for at least 15-30 minutes depending on how dry your hair is. To make a deep conditioner use the cream, add 3 tbs of aloe Vera gel or water or flaxseed gel and leave in for 1-8 hours with shower cap. If you try it let me know how it went. You should feel a difference the 1st wash day. By 2 weeks you should see new growth. healing all over the scalp and 3x the thickness of hair with in 4 to 6 months.

Use hemp soap to wash scalp, use collagen and biotin shampoo/conditioner and a leave in conditioner. Aloe Vera, Applecider vinegar diluted with water, Jamaican castor oil, tea tree oil are good leave ins to help moisturize. Hair is slowly growing back in the area
