If it's anything like 17. Don't use articulated or rear stear vehicles as they tend to zig zag. In larger and larger zig zags.

Have you been able to successful get the follow drive to drive along side a combine during harvest? I saw you working with the forager, curious if you've been able to use follow me for a grain harvest to drive the grain bin. Thanks

video idea for you, do a video on autodrive mod its really cool and helpful, lets you send trucks to pickup and deliver goods from storage or field to sell points. keep up the good work!

Well I got to REALLY enjoying this follow me mod. But must have missed the part where you told us how to turn the follow me mode off. LoL Is there an easier way to do this rather than jumping in each vehicle and terminating the helpers employment ? Really enjoyed this video, Thanks for show us this I saw but just wasn't sure how it work. You explained it thanks !

Are the engines running (I use auto start)? What happens when you get a load of straw? You have peeked my intrest. This may make me hate doing hay slightly less.

Hey Farmer Dawg, I always try to play with auto engine off but it does take some time to get used to it. I do forget to shut stuff all the time but I do like the extra little bit of realism.

would think they could make it do actions at certain crumbs driving being a normal crumb, where as lifting a mower at the end of the field could drop a different kind of crumb telling the AI to lift it before turning for the next pass....

Thanks for the sub and welcome to the Crew! Chances are it wont be coming to console as it is a script. Typically we don't see script type mods make it to console unfortunately.

not sure, for some reason all of youtube never has anyone say for sure or not. I don't think so. you brought this up over a year ago and no one liked it until I just did. no one even cared to answer your question. so many people out there simply don't give a f. I mean check out the likes vs the the views for this video. nothing but a bunch of star bellied cat in the hat folks out there smelling their own farts all day.

Unfortunately the follow me mod will never come to consoles unless giants creates the mod themselves and makes it part of the base game. and that stinks :(

Try ploughing a field with other machines running, when the plough gets to the end of the field it stops all the other machines from working. So it’s hardly the best mod.

I used it all the time in FS17 but I cannot get the offset and change of distance to work in FS19 All I can do is follow another vehicle at 25 meters

check your keybinding, should be left alt or shift (depending on what vehicle you're in) and then you WASD keys.

hm... when im in the second tractor i want to follow me, it says - unable to find the trail to follow, move closer... but im literaly crashing into the vehicle in front haha.....

You need to move the first tractor 20ft or so then the second tractor should be able to find it's trail.

Follow me is CRAP! When you set up a tractor and auger to follow a combine at an offset in order for the combine to dump while harvesting, as long as you remain in the follower the combine harvest at around 10km/h. As SOON as you jump into any other vehicle including the combine, its speed drops to 4km/h!!!!! What the HELL is up with that????
