This video is a PERFECT example of why you're not supposed to cup a microphone like that. It's so black and white clear when you listen to this. Notice how the guy's voice sounds kind of muffled and flat? It sounds a little "nasal", and the chicks voice is perfectly clear? That's because the guy doesn't know how to hold a microphone. That is literally just because he's cupping the grill of the mic. The WHOLE grill of the microphone is supposed to be uncovered *including the back and sides.* There's a handle of a reason. That's where your hand goes!

Here I looked this up just for you. Watch the comparisons of the mics (aside from the heil obviously because they designed it to stop dumb singers from ruining their sound by holding a mic wrong). They show you uncupped and cupped. It's very simple, I don't know why you took offense. I didn't insult his singing, I pointed out that he's holding a mic wrong, and that you can clearly hear that by listening to both singers, since one singer is holding the mic correctly. kzfaq.info/get/bejne/j8CndZZe0tTIf3U.html I shouldn't even need to link you this, since you can see it in the video you're commenting on right this second...

Exactly! All those naysayers keep comparing this band to Nightwish, but Nightwish had YEARS of practice while these guys are complete novices Even Sabaton's first album sounded rusty, and look at where they are now - four-time platinum award winners, multiple world tours and still sound brilliant even after they changed some members

Ppl love to hate this band. Facts: the girl has a very good voice, the music is not bad at all, they know their music and they can add more balls and complex parts if they want. Other facts: Someone told these guys that in today showbiz you need an image to draw attention. They managed to do that that, but not in the way they were expecting. Advice for the instrumentalists: cut the crap looking shit, the general perception is that you look ridiculous, just dress normal and it will be far better than this. Add some more riffage or solo parts, do no, smth more to the next songs, let the girl do her job because she is awesome and you ll be a great band!

Let's not be ridiculous. Better than Nightwish? Really? They aren't even better than Nightwish when Anette was their singer. They certainly aren't better with Floor. I don't know about this band in general because I like this song but haven't heard another I like yet.

What I don't get is why are these guys getting such a big push from NB? There is obviously some talent there, but if this was their first gig, why show videos from nearly all of it when it evidently wasn't all that great? Give them some time to evolve and grow as a band. Put them out on tour supporting some other bands. Get them to the point where their live show is as tight as it can be and THEN present them to the public if that's the way you want to market them. Seems a bit odd to me to go down this route. "Hey guys here's a band you've never heard of doing their first live gig poorly. We're just going to shove them down your throats for a while. Cool? Cool."

Poor male singer getting flamed in the comment section for singing like sh*it, holding the mic the wrong way etc, when there's clearly a fair amount on post production on Lindas voice. For everyone who's heard the album version will know that this is a mix between live and album vocals on her. I wish they didn't do it tho, because she is actually good live and a real live version would be better to promote the bands live abilities than this...

Ok.. to keep it short: the male vocals is very weak - highpitched but that's about it, and her voice is obviously pretty good though the song is generic singalong popmetal and their image is horrible

Good to see that some people can still use arguments to feed their opinion. So many people just saying "it's shit" about stuff they don't like, and when they get shat on for not having arguments they all whine "Can't we dislike anything anymore ?"... I personnally think that everyone in this band is pretty good on their own. They just lack some kind of "synergy" I'd say. They're good invidually but when mixed up it sounds dull.

I respect your opinion. But you have to be aware of the fact that this was their 1st gig. So it can't be perfect yet. The guy was a guest singer, a friend of the band who joined them live and on the album. So you hear him only on one song of the album :)

They are not bad musicians and they clearly know how to make a catchy metal song, but their "mad Max image" does not come across as "cool" in my eyes. I've heard the debut and I like some of the songs, strong melodies - but they need to add a bit of orginality and power to the sound. It's very inspired by bands like Amaranthe - a bit to much! I hope for more power and less electronica-synth on the next one.

Linda sounds pretty good and I totally agree their image is terrible. Especially Jonas. Probably going to turn out into a pretty good band hopefully. I like carolus rex and the rising.

They really need to rethink their image. Jonas looks like such a kook with that hat, Linda needs to learn to look more metal on stage not do an awkward dance, Viktor is doing ok but the eyeshadow looks silly. You can tell Ken has experience and Karl kills it! Still enjoy their version of Carolus Rex and The rising
