Bloodmage is notorious for being really bad at the solo hero challenge, and I've failed it a couple of times in the past... but I may have found a way to make it work. Let's try one more time!

i saw a solo warden like this in like 2006 and it just inspired me to play more. those kinds of things are exactly why i still love the game twenty years later. i do quite like the casual "this seems annoying to play against" though. haha.

That "grouping with other resource gatherers makes them remember their resource gathering role" thing seems more like an oversight to me It seems that the unit still "remembers" what its role was but it's only when grouping that the code makes it go through each unit to check what they were doing before. They could have just done this without needing to group with other active gatherers

First time in years that I have seen an Altar power build. But it used to be that a Human Altar power build showed up on occasion, usually on the old version of Terenas Stand, not with a Blood Mage, but with an Archmage, and usually not for a No-Rax Tech but for fast creeping, often in combination with a Barracks power build. Would like to see this again, although the absence of the old version of Terenas Stand on the ladder puts a crimp in that. (Also, Human players seem to have gotten better at dealing with Blademaster harass, which had been a primary motivating factor in using this build.

A lot of hero names are references. Old blizzard loved to throw in easter eggs. You probably already know but if you click the pit lord hero a few times you get a really long "talk show" dialogue that's quite funny.

Blademaster chose to go out like a true Samurai in the end. This was either a great or terrible game. I'm not sure which.

I know I'd fail tremendously but I kinda want to try this strategy lol. I thought the Blood Mage should be able to win if you managed to get to level 6 but didn't expect you to get most Exp from their base.

Chat going nuts that you're bullying a new player so he's never going to play again. Bruh used literally one unit and had a 20 minute game, would the dude feel better if he did literally anything else and dominated him in 6 seconds? This was the only way he actually had any sort of chance whatsoever this was the nicest thing grubby could have done lmao especially considering the guy didn't attack or creep or do anything the entire time and lost every unit because he just stood beside a tree getting nuked for 5 minutes. And the one time he did attack he ran his blademaster through 15 towers and got killed by peasants lol "Is that mirror image? Oh it israel. I too want to know what's israel" Based Grubby confirmed

I think he’s taking a little break from LoL, dabbling in dota and hots. A shame for me since I just started getting back into it because I was inspired by his content. I dont like hero only challenge. You could still have some non meta caster or only low amount of units, mainly relying on your hero. In general i think non meta games are most fun to see
