I cant wait for Grubby to finish this A to Z so I can watch the playlist in Reverse and watch a good player get worse each episode. By the time he gets to A he'll only shoot from the low ground and build radiance on sniper like me

I would watch Grubby every day if i didn't have to read some of the rude messages in chat. I love how wholesome and respectful he is, and for my part, i try to enjoy without seeing or thinking about the words on the screen.

Grubby never had to endure the Hoho- haha meta. we all remember the instant appearing shrapnel without projectile with way higher range and slow. followed by a " you got peeped"

Best Herald Sniper strat is starting with Blight Stone and 2 Slippers. Build the Wraith Bands, then MoM, Deso. Get Take Aim at level 2 (only get it to 3 after you've skilled the rest) so you can outrange towers, and just siege without repercussions.

I still remember the patch when sniper ult is based on the sniper damage, every sniper will buy divine rapier and just spam assassinate.

Sniper with philosopher's stone: might have been dead? Philo also works when you're dead, so if you take it while dead for 90sec in the late game, that's like 120 gold extra.

Man. Grubby and the chat were really off about Sniper as a whole. Sniper is a right click carry. His ultimate and shrapnel are all but useless and extremely situational. Range, attack speed and headshot are snipers strongest abilities. Snipers supposed to rock up, get in a good position to shoot and just right click down heroes too far away from them for them to do anything. If they by the skin off their teeth escape out of range then that's what the ultimate is for, and only that. Shrapnel is a slow that exists only to be put down first to slow the enemies escape its damage is useless. Right click carry. Right click carry. That's Sniper.

Support build you wanted to play with Sniper is good in my opinion. You can always get the attack speed later in the match when you can use it better. You should always be shoot move shoot move with sniper anyways and standing still autoattacking is just begging for a skillshot. And also have more items to catch up with the push you get from headshot in the lategame. You could easily transition into full carry. Especially if you have another source of damage to complement you midgame.

Knockback talent for defensive play sniper if enemy have many meele, but sharpnel if your team have many meele and you at backside dealing damage.

after level 14, if farmed enough, sniper ult basically useless without scepter - compared to a speedy and high-critical chance/damage auto-attack spree with dragon lance/hurricane pike, daedalus, and mask of madness...

MoM is the best earlygame/midgame item for sniper because you can just lifesteal through fights. Just autoattack, press E, activate MoM. Lifesteal is OP on sniper.

Regeneration rune stop working as soon as you have full mana and hp, so waste your mana with skills when possible to prolong it's duration.

Never build a rapier without proper defense. If you insist on rapier on sniper I would first build a bkb and a way to either escape (shadow blade) or lifesteal to stand your ground (satanic)... Or both. Just dmg and more dmg by rapier on top can throw games really hard!

Pro tip: When you lose a tier one tower your fortification timer refreshes. If you know you are about to lose a tower and your fortification is available you might as well use the fortification as once the tower is destroyed its cooldown will refresh.
