Hello Lisa ive just purchased this fantastic kit but ive got a.problem im not sure how to attach the side of the shoe does the side goes on the inside of the toe or does it go on the outside so the toe peice covers the toe many thanks

could you show us how to do a closed toe with both side straps(closed shoe)?

I used satin ice gumpaste (ready made) and the heels never dried enough to use, so I didn't go on with the rest of the shoe. We have had quite a bit of humidity and wondered if that is causing the problem or do you think it is the brand of gumpaste? I have worked with gumpaste before in pastry school, but never had this problem. Have you had this problem before? (It sat for 5 days and You could still smash it with your fingers. )

Just as I began salivating over the idea of actually making my very own beloved high heels, It slowly dawned on me that these shoes were NOT made for walkin' but for eatin'.. LOL!!!! I can't believe it I am so disappointed..

I ordered your kit. I tried the heel 2 times in the mold and I coated it with shortening and it stuck on me and would not come out of the mold even after 15 min. in the freezer. I am not happy

Thank you for posting. Very easy to follow. However, I wish to point out that the icing is sugarpaste not fondant. Fondant icing is different. Unfortunately, the term fondant is being used increasingly in the USA and making its way into UK baking vocabulary... This does not take anything away from your amazing skills though 😊
