[HOW TO] Install Diode Dynamics SS3 LED Fog Pods on a 2015+ Colorado/Canyon [LONG]

I purchased these SS3 LED fog pods for 2015+ Colorado/Canyon on Amazon. However, they did not come with plastic shrouds as advertised and they also came with the wrong bezel on the housings. So if you are in the market for these BUY DIRECT FROM DIODE DYNAMICS to avoid the hassle of having to source the other parts. Luckily, DD sent me the correct shrouds and bezels for free.

Hot tip for the canyon bezels you had trouble with. I found it easiest to release the tabs you were having trouble with from the front of the truck with a plastic pry tool. If you insert the tool where each of the two tabs are they pop right out when you go at them from the front of the bumper instead of the backside. Once those were released it was very easy to release the rest. Once I figured this out the second light install took maybe 5-7 min total. Hope this helps anyone having trouble with the canyon bezels.

Just used the video to remove the bezel after breaking the tab on the fog light housing where the light clicks in, very helpful. Helpful also about using a screwdriver to push inward and outward on the smaller tabs first, thing came right out.

Great video thanks for posting it. I just ordered a set for my son's Canyon Denali. I went with the selective yellow, no reason other than I like the contrast and it will look a little different than stock. I have a set of these in my Subaru Impreza and love them. I was wondering how involved it would be to install and this looks pretty simple. DD is a good company that makes quality stuff. I've been getting my LED's from them for a while now. I'm happy to see that took pretty good care of you.

The SS3 LED fog light kit is SAE-compliant for legal on-road use when paired with the SAE Fog (Wide) or SAE Driving as a supplementary high beam. No. I stood in front of the truck and they were not blinding at all. Also they are DOT compliant.
