Whipping Boy were one of my favourite bands in the 90s. This was my favourite song of theirs. Now these lads are my favourite band and hearing them do this makes me ridiculously happy. I am 50 in 2 days time, sitting in my hotel in Boracay in the Philippines, far from my family and friends and this is making my soul whole. Thanks lads.

Im so happy that fontaines did this cover. Obviously cos one of the best contemporary Irish bands out there doing a cover of the greatest bands of days gone by is wicked, but also hopefully it will whipping boy even just a trickle of exposure which they soooooo deserved.

I loved Whipping Boy. I walked into Beggars Banquet and fell in love with Heatworm instantly back in 1993.
