This shows how maFIA helped Ferrari in 1997, after disqualifying JV in the Japanese GP, now it was time for sending Fontana to block JV in order to give the ferrari driver teh championship in the last race.

"Martin, you're a cynical chap!" Bloody right though. I still don't see what this has to do with the FIA though, as mentioned n the description.

I think that guy Fontana, many years later, told a newspaper that he had been threatened by Ferrari (Jean Todt) about not letting Villeneuve go past him, helping Shumacher, but anyway, Villeneuve won the championship.

I remember watching this live, it was a tense moment in the race with Villeneuve catching Schumacher. The commentary from Walker and Brundle was hilarious, with Brundle catching Walker out when he could not remember, when asked, that the Sauber had a Ferrari engine. What followed then was Walker trying desperately not to laugh, it really broke the tension. RIP Murray.

at 1:05: Murray Walker: "A case of champagne from Ferrari to Sauber for Norberto Fontana. Because the Argentinian newcomer, up from Formula Three, really, really, helped Michael Schumacher on his way there" Martin Brundle: "What engines have they got in that Sauber, Murray? Isn't it a Ferrari?" Murray Walker: "Well it is, yes. Martin, you are a cynical chap"

Esto muestra cómo NORBERTO ayudó a Ferrari en 1997, después de descalificar a JV en el GP de Japón, ahora era el momento de enviar a Fontana a bloquear JV para darle al piloto de Ferrari el campeonato en la última carrera.

Sounds great. Brundle has proved almost as vital as Murray Walker, a tremendous and bold commentator. I have not warmed to James Allen at all, and I believe many think the same. Since 2001 we've been listening and he just gets on my nerves... Calling his son Enzo didn't help!

I remember that... How obvious! The Ferrari engine-supplied Sauber! C'mon! Very unfortunate but it happened. Todt had dropped by the Sauber motorhome to ask this of their drivers. Had it been Morbidelli instead(as Fontana was only a sub on 4 races including this one), Jean Todt would have still gone into that motorhome and asked for the same favor. No doubt about that here!

well, the dude sort of doesn't make it easy for JV, but it's a twisty part of the track...

dont blame fontana, todt went to the sauber box before the race and order that to both sauber drivers, fontana now tells that todt never said thanks to him. he is not proud about that but orders are orders.

I don´t think this is an order from FIA... but maybe an orden to the Sauber Team, If I don´t remember bad back them they used Ferrari parts for the engine. And about block, not forget the one from Coulthart in Spa... FIA makes unfair decision to both sides, to make more entretaining the chmapionships

its such a crying shame about schumacher, most talented driver since 1995 no question, but it does help that none of the old skool dog fighters exist in formula one anymore, if u get close to anyone they call it dangerous driving etc schumacher and ferrari are cheats so they go hand in hand but i do admire ferrari for running a 1 man team and their single mindedness of wanting to win

I know. I was being sarcastic to see if anyone noticed. You're the first, give you a prize.. Anyway, I personally seem to be the only one on this page who doesn't think there is a massive anti-Mac conspiracy. I'm sure I will get flamed for this view, but I don't think a few undeniable irregularities make a full conspiracy. I would also say that McLaren drivers seem more frequently to push the limits, so are therefore more likely to be punished. There are my two cents. Flaming commence.. :D

Well, that and Ferrari drivers ramming McLaren drivers. And Toro Rosso drivers, and Toro Rosso drivers getting the blame. Hang on, that elevated Massa to 7th, didn't it? Everyone in F1 with sanity knew that, if a penalty had to be dealt, it should have been for Massa again. Ridiculous! The "stewards" have decided this years title - Hamilton and Massa deserve it, but it is tarnished. Should Massa win by a point or two we will look back to Spa, Fuji, Magny Cours....

How did Hamilton get a penalty for the start at Fuji. Dat is a joke. Massa rams into 2 cars and gets points. The Ferrari Intervention Authority are a disgrace
@Waterfall6416 жыл бұрын
I also noticed McLaren are sort of "winning", even despite Ferrari drivers shoving Lewis off the road, and shoving Toro Rosso drivers off the road, and driving out from the pitlane into the path of Adrian Sutil with the fuel rig still attached. Also, I noticed at Silverstone that Massa spun five times in the rain. Lewis won by over and minute, didn't he? Yes! He did, come to think of it! Or like when Raikkonen crashed into Sutil at Monaco and didn't receive so much as an investigation.

Oh dear..... I seem to remember Raikkonen being a bit erratic (read dangerous) in those closing laps at Spa. Stuffed it into the wall I seem to remember. Lewis got a penalty, didn't, he? For what? He was so obviously faster than Kimi..... will we ever have any decent Stewards. "Stewards", read "fuckwits". They're making the sport look like a fucking farce. I have watched F1 for 20 years and this icident is more embarrassing than the steward's cock-up at Silverstone '98!
