You could say that about almost every game though... it's easy to know what you like and don't like after a few plays.. POTC is beautiful but after 3 years I was more than happy to move on from mine and collect 22k. Code left a lot to be desired.

TODAY was my day to go & CHOOSE my new pin. I played a mint Dialed In LE (& Lawlor is my hero). The guy said the bats were set to max power, but lemme tell ya: It felt like they were made w Nerf! NO satisfaction bangin any ball at any velo-they all felt … _soft!_ 👀 No 🧢! For their prices, I hope other JJPs have strong coils & bats that BASH like Sterns. 🤷‍♂️ I walked out the proud owner of a new JP Premium w a shaker motor installed. And NO PIN EVER has owned me like THAT one! Love at BALL 1! ✌️

Games that have those usually are for a reason. I usually want the ball to be in play and worry more if it's in the lower area. Thing is some of these are on the left, so when a ball is launched many games let a ball orbit that way. No bumpers up top or whatever for easy skill shot pts.

Somewhat agree here nice to see a music pin from a group that wasn’t big in 80s,70s,60s. People will argue and say Metallic and GnR were big in the 90s, yes very early 90s. Maybe a 2000s band is overdue, people who were in their 20s in early 2000s are hitting their 40s and some have decent income to afford pins. Love to see Adams Or Twilight Zone, Creature remake as well, more golden era remakes maybe with modern upgrades.

Dude, hell of a choice. Honestly, I have played both FF and DP a lot in the last couple of days. I enjoy them both. DP is more comedic. FF has some of the best flow in pinball to date. DP is lower on my list ONLY because there is one locally that I can drive to and get my "fix." I'm currently fighting the impulse of adding Iron Maiden to the lineup.

I'll bet that once the playfield breaks in a bit and a well timed little bump that flipper won't be needed every single shot. A skilled player who knows the game won't need it.

@@veganm8918 true, perhaps a little nudge. I just played Godfather yesterday.. got a pretty nice score of over 169 million lol. Completely blew the game up stacking multiballs with Turf War multiball, and then decided to cash-in the multipliers during that madness. But it's true- that loop is an instant drain at least 50% of the time. I got used to just holding the left flipper out if I was hitting that shot from the left.. and aiming elsewhere if I was shooting with the right. It's a cool game. Not my favorite pin ever, but it's a solid game.

@@mootsym I took a chance and ordered a CE before they sold out. I am looking forward to trying it out. For the JJP home games when you get the feel one can sit and play for a half hour on one game. I enjoy that. But wow 15K is a lot of money for a game. Ugh! Hopefully I'll love it and if not hopefully won't lose a ton in selling it. What is your favorite pin ever? Twilight Zone is for sure in my top 3.

maybe, unless the code for pro doesn't have the data for a post to pop up. you could try installing premium code, but then you are missing an entire playfield that the game is expecting.

Yeah, the prices have gotten bloody ridiculous down here ey mate. Ordered a GZ prem when they were still $13,250 but knew I'd probably ended up gettin stung for the price rise, and I did. But $2250 was a bit fuckin more than I was expecting. But I still bloody paid it. Bit of a piss off when others got em for $13,250 but wanted to get it before the prices get anymore stupid. It'll probably be the one and only NIB I ever buy especially if the prices go up again next year. Stern are greedy bastards they probably will.

The shipping from New south to the bottom of VIC was only about $150 bucks which was surprising. But once ya put a shaker, some mirror blades and a sub woofer in it, it soon added up to a bit over 16K. I'm not a rich bastard and I coulda bought a decent bloody car for that kinda money. But I'd rather drive a shit heap and have a GZ prem to play mate 🤷‍♂😂

@@RETROCENGO Thats the point i cant respect that reviews from casual play (2-3 games) with JJP are not allowed bc its unfair. Johnson the 2nd J in JJP made all rules for JJP games. The point is JJps are not location games that was Jacks and Johns vision from day 1 yet Hardy rates it like a (Stern) location game that is just unfair. Heres a quote from Johnson from a panel a few years ago exactly on those casual 2-3 games exactly on Hardy and the disrespect of Hardys session so maybe then you get my point; "Many people dont spend the time necessary to explore all the ways in my games. Initially I thought maybe that’s on me for not saying you should try this and this and this…but then I realised most just don’t want to experiment much they „just“ want to play the game. Experimentation is the intention of my games. But many people don’t like the rule variety like I thought they would. My games are journey games. Deep games. I feel the player needs to have a lot to do and a lot to learn to justify the cost. That’s how I drive rule design. I make games solely for me so the casual player who throws a few quarters in for a few minutes of fun doesn’t see lights. It’s bc that game has some stuff in it. The code is pretty much complete already on Godfather. That is always a goal for JJP. Don't let my experience discourage you - I just recommend you play it before dropping the cash for it. My 2-3 games experience is hardly a fair experience to get a great feel of the game. I need more time on it - I just don't feel any anticipation to do so.

@@CaryHardy, I had a feeling you would say that. I already paid my deposit on the JJP website, so I'm pretty sure I'm locked-in on the machine. It's definitely early but the reviews are definitely mixed. Appreciate the feedback and will still hold on to some optimism. On a lighter note, I know I'm going to love Pulp Fiction LE. Now, if I can only get my Williams Indiana Jones and Deadpool LE sold soon.

@@ScottParisi JJP always updates the code and continues to make significant improvements. I'd not panic. I have the CE coming as well. 2-3 games and you forget to bounce off a flipper so it drains is not much of a criticism of a game. I have 2 other JJP and the depth of the code and how long it can take to figure them out is a blast and incredible.

I'm fine with the FF theme, it's the music that is the problem.

Their popularity, sales, and numerous awards clearly support that they, as a band, don't suck. Music is so subjective, and I prefer not to listen to them either but I recognize they definitely don't suck. In such a generalized statement like you made sounds like you're not even recognizing their accomplishments and crapping directly on a band that clearly deserves the respect from everyone, regardless of it's your taste or not. It's a band that has produced music, much tied to memories that so many love. 👍. Plus the game looks really good and sometimes that is enough for people to get behind, that's just not me.

Because they require more than a few games to earn high scores. They are low scoring games until you unlock their secrets. Unfortunately, most people seek instant gratification.

How is it a diss when I blame myself for not remembering to use said flipper? Pretty sure everyone is aware that audio can be adjusted. I state the volume was turned down on the game - which already indicates the volume is adjustable. 3K for a single post - hell no. The upper playfield is a nice addition, but I didn't feel like I was up there a lot - probably because I couldn't nail that right ramp very often.

Which ones have you played? GnR has been my least favorite but TS4, willy wonka and dialed in are actually pretty cool. Godfather I likely will get to play today.

@@alejandroramirez4470 I have played all JJP games. The LE is the version I played for Godfather. GnR is probably my least favorite to shoot. TS4 wasn't enjoyable, but was more fun to shoot. I really liked Dialed in. I need more time on Godfather.
