This was for sure the most annoying video I have ever made. It took forever to record, countless recording problems, synchronizing audio and video was a nightmare, triggers didn’t work properly, the drum module stopped working, Amazon's delivery guy arriving right at the time of recording... in short, a real challenge and lesson in patience. (Not to say a huge pain in the ass)… if it wasn’t the fact I’m a huge Taylor Hawkins fan, and also the fact that I was trying to play this one since mast century I’d definitely drop it.

Excellent drumming. You nailed it. I've done a few Foo Fighters covers, but that's a lot different from what I normally do. My last one was a few years ago.

Hey, I'll try to find them to watch... Both Dave and Taylor are great drummers... not the most technical but they have that rock n' roll/punk feeling...

Hey man, thanks. The drums for me are still a big work in progress... I'm a guitar player by design, and late in life, I thought that just distorted riffs weren't enough for my neighbors so I started to learn the drums... still miss the feel and timing, but I'll get there. I miss the most important part of the mix, that you sir nailed, which is singing. You have a great voice. I’m taking lessons but it’s not that easy

Thanks, man. Lots of work on the drums yet, I started to play not long ago. I’m more into the guitar actually… This song is super fun to play whether on the drums or the guitar…

Hi Jamie… those are Zildjian L80s low volume cymbals… as it implies it reduces the volume, avoiding fights with neighbors and divorce 😂 The black trim on the edge is to prevent them to vibrate when I hit, as I use triggers on it, so it prevents double triggering.
