I love this Gina! My daughter would love this for a Christmas present! She asked me one time if I had a carrier like this she could borrow, but of course I did not. I will definitely make her one as she is always transporting food!

Love this pattern. I have made about 12 of them for Christmas and Wedding gifts. I embroider names on on the carrier so they hopefully don’t get lost.

What did you call the insulated material??? And how/where do you purchase yours?? By the yard/roll??? I am excited to attempt this project as soon as school is out for holidays. Will be a great Christmas gift for all my aunts and church ladies.

Hi there If you want it to be a bit bigger you can add one inch in each side. I did not added on mine, but you can . Happy Sewing Gina

does the opening allow enough room to get the pan out when there is food in the pans?

Yes it does but you can alway add an extra inch around if you want it bigger for easier access. Thank you Gina

I am confused about what you said about the zipper at the end. If you use a regular zipper as opposed to a zipper by the yard? When do you need to open the zipper? If you do a zipper by the yard you don't need to open it?
