A lot of New Yorkers are surprisingly toxic and they usually mind there business and ignore you they aren't just gonna go out of their way to be rude to you but if you approach them they will be rude that's why when ever I ask somebody a question or like directions I don't go to the people that look like rich snobs I look for the people wearing regular underdressed clothing ( I've lived in New York for my entire life ) because I've noticed that the times I've encountered rude people they look WAY overdressed so that's my tip if you ever come to New York bit you don't have to take u mean I've only lived here my entire life so 🤷🏾‍♀️

@@janejones7638 Heya, UK inhabitant here! Somewhere on the price label on everything it gives the price per kg (1000g) or per 100g, but not per pound - no clue what the conversion is off the top of my head. Although sometimes some supermarkets will have a fixed price for each individual item of fruit/veg it isn't common. Here it's unfortunately cheaper/better value to buy your fruit and veg in plastic, so most people can't buy loose stuff :(

Yeah, but it's an American supermarket though. I've never been to the states but everything in this video looks supersized, there's so much variety for just one type of thing like salad or cereal. Their cans are really tall like energy drinks when most of our fizzy drink cans are smaller and wider like the standard coca cola cans. And everything is much more colourful than anything I've ever seen in ASDA, Tesco, Sainsbury's, Morrisons or Waitrose.

I remember when my cousin from London came to visit... one of the first things he asked me besides a cigarette was "How big are your larges?" At first I didn't understand what he was trying to say but he later explained that "large" in the UK is probably the size of small or medium in the states. Later when we ate at a Mexican restaurant he ordered a Grande plate... when his dish arrived he placed it in the middle of table. Since the portion was so large he thought it was for everyone. He was amazed that it was for him... So seeing your reactions to things brought back memories... thanks

Wales, I used to go to North Wales regularly as a child, Llandudno, Wrexham, and was going to rent a cottage in Holt, a gorgeous village outside of Wrexham. Chester in Wales I shopped in regularly, it's a lovely old fashioned Roman city in North Wales. I recommend Welsh cakes, little flat scone things, BTW.

Honestly one of my favourite things about going to America is going to their supermarkets and seeing the sheer VARIETY of stuff. They have like twenty flavours of the one product, like Oreo have entire walls of flavours, it’s so insane. As an Australian, it is truly just a super fun crazy experience to see all these things that I’ve not even HEARD OF, and we see so may “iconic” products on TV, so seeing them irl is pretty cool.
