Honestly the most refreshing thing I've seen on anything related to van life. Please don't change a thing. It's so interesting to see the perspective from the other side of the ocean. Here in Canada most of the van life style content is from the US and quite frankly, it's not very positive or encouraging. I deeply applaud your courage, openness and honesty in your vlog posts. As a young woman traveling alone your security is paramount, but I love they way you embrace the challenge and prove that the world is not a bad place and there are good people everywhere you go. Stay safe, take care and Bravo.

Maurice Gauvin, Absolute majority of us are "good people". And those who are "bad" need help, both spiritual (psychotherapy and such), and, most importantly, changes to societal structure so that you eliminate economic inequality/stratification, hunger, homelessness and poverty. And we can do it, but in a way, we (humanity) choose not to.

You might want to think about getting a water collection bladder maybe 5 maybe 7 litres that attaches to your filter so that you can gather water and then you can let gravity run the water through the filter. I use a little bit of thin nylon cord ( Mason twine ) just a couple of millimeters in diameter and you can hang it from a branch of any tree or if it's raining you can tie a knot in the cord and have the bladder inside your rear van door and shut it with the not on the outside to hold it in place and you can filter your water overnight into a clean container for use with your morning coffee For more storage you might get a clamp on roof rack.. Odie ROCKS 🎸 😎

We have a water filter thing like that. We used it at the lake district last year and it was so useful. Its handy to have a fold up water bottle that is like a strong plastic bag with a bottle lid because sometimes you want to dip into the water but without actually getting into the water and with a folding bottle ,you can bend the top part to get it under the surface and avoid any floating bits,without pouring all the water back out.

I have used the Sawyer filter for almost 4 years now and it's a fantastic bit of kit. Best thing is you can backwash it and it is good to go for thousands and thousands of litres of water! Love the boots... might pay to buy a small aerosol can of waterproofing spray, and give them a good spray and you'll be good to go :)

I would not expect any less in a shopping haul from a fellow Italian. You have enough food for a family of 5. Here in Australia many people buy what you bought for their whole family, but us Italians like to buy too much food. I made a comment the other day about my 2 fridges for myself and my nonna had 2 plus fridges for 3 people in her house. My nonna also had a stockpile of pasta. But my aunty in Sassari, Sardegna had an even bigger stockpile of pasta and even more pasta.

Brilliant. I am about to visit Scotland in my Citroen Berlingo van and will also be fridgeless. I lost my old collie dog a few weeks ago and she suffered arthritis, the vet gave her tablets which made a huge difference. I would love to hear how Oddie responds to Tumeric. Yeah a little review of the water filter would be very useful. Thanks Marina, I have been a subscriber for a while and really enjoy your videos!

@wackyswanderings3627

Keep wellies, they're water proof. Soya mini filter is brilliant but the little water collection bags will drive you nuts. In strong flows they do eventually collect enough water. However, in small streams puddle's etc they're a nightmare 😖 Pre filled bottles of water, the ones with little flip top nipple like, screw on lids (Smart bottles) fit the filter direct so once empty can be used direct with the filter. Either simply to drink direct through filter or to transfer via filter to secondary vessel or bottle. Another little tip is that these smart bottles, because of their lids, can be used, with clean or filtered water to back flush the filter. Hope that helps. happy travels 😊 Dave AKA wackyswandering 😁

I love it, you're such a girly girl, 10 pairs of shoes but no fridge/ electric cool box. As a suggestion you can buy a small electric cool box for as little as £30 to fit on the passenger seat and plug into the cigarette lighter socket in the dashboard. It would help keep your fresh food fresh for longer, saving you money in the long term.I love what you are doing, keep doing it, take care and stay safe.

I have thought about a roof box, but for some reason most roof boxes don't fit kangoos (you'll rarely see one with a roof box on) and the ones that do are very expensive. But that's ok cause it forces me to only keep the strict necessary, I know that I would feel the roofbox with useless junk :D

Good thinking with the spaghetti! I like to use mason jars to soak/sprout dried fruit, chickpeas, lentils, make sourkarut. Soaking dried fruit is good for your teeth I think, and sprouting stuff enables buying cheaper, smaller packs of dried beans as well as avoid having to cook them for hours. BTW don't eat uncooked kidney bean sprouts.
