This is very true not only for the FT people but people from other technical fields as well. Communication skills are often neglected.

Sadly there are companies who ask many of these certificates, and don't see the long term skills or skills the candidate have.

First time seeing this channel have no idea that everyone was obsessed with certificates and still active...whereas I don't even have one..I had only spend my first sem in college after that due to corona now I'm in my home wasting time ( about 1 year in home now I'm in 4th sem) and I don't even know what to do next (confused af) currently I'm thinking about taking GATE exam with zero motivation....😒(I don't even know which subjects i should choose for preparation of GATE)

My doubt is after completing my PG I have plans of pursuing PhD at either one of the following : NIFTEM CFTRI IIFPT ICT BHU Am I eligible or would they reject me as I didn't do PG in FOOD TECHNOLOGY /NUTRITION /SCIENCE. Is MSc Food Chemistry and Processing is eligible for doing PhD in the above stated universities.

I wanted to do my master's in italy...do you think italy is a good place for food technologists?

Sir i wanted to know that, like nowadays there are like so many free courses on udemy, coursera, etc. apart from foodtech field like nanotechnology, data science, learning to work on some software and many more like that, so sometimes when i can't focus too much on just one thing, just for a change i enroll in these courses basically for interest purposes. Getting back to my question, i wanted to know whether am i just wasting my time learning these things in 2nd year or is it fine to do such. Also that i thought that since there are so many job profiles in this field, that i exactly don't know what i might be doing in future but maybe one of these skills that i might learn from these courses might come in use in some or the other way. So is it okay to do this or shall i drop this out.

Hello sir , I m in dilemma I m getting M.tech (food processing Engineering) at IIT Kharagpur but I don't have much interest in that . I m preparing for Govt jobs like ssc/bank etc sir , my mind is telling like Give ur best this year and you may get govt job this year ...but other side of me telling like what if it didn't happen this year why to become financially burden on parents it's good opportunity take admission and along with that prepare for Govt exam and if u got u can leave M.tech ......I don't know sir I m confused should I give 100% focus on preparation of Govt exam and may be I will get this yr , or I should take M.tech .
