Holly you need to get you a new can opener, that opens the lid from the top all the way around not on the side like that I don’t do my cans that way anymore once I got the new kind of can opener.

Starfrit make a can opener that doesn’t leave any jagged edges. It cuts the can from the mop and not just the lid.

Last year, my brother decided he would buy me a new appliances and I insisted that I like the look stainless steel, but I do not like having to clean it so we wound up with a stainless steel look, but not stainless steel, I wanted to still be able to stick my magnets to the front of it and I don’t have to clean it or at least not the outside anyway.
