Maria , you are so beautiful, talented and hard worker. My Mother made this dish in a cake pan and called it head cheese. She also pass the meat through a hand meat grinder before cooking it. I am 83 yrs old and i sure miss her cooking.

Hello! I was all eyes, watching the first part. Then Marya took her dog out to play in the snow and i became 💗💓💞💕!!! Marya's cellar looks just like my Grandmother's. She used to send me there to get what she needed. They also kept potatoes, carrots and beets in boxes of cold, dry sand in the basement. I have never seen food like this delicacy before, but it looks very interesting. I love vegetables and my mouth started watering when I saw the salad. ☺️ Thank you for sharing your life with us, Marya. You are a warm, friendly person. Your village is lucky to have you.

I really enjoy watching Maria cook, I also love how she cleans her hands, washes off her jars etc. You can tell when someone takes pride in everything they do and you can see Maria does!

I love seeing her Wiith her dog you can tell the dog loves her.

In the United States we make a dish almost like this dish you made with the pig head meat....we call it hog head cheese...and it is delicious!! The pig head meat is cooked on the stove with the fatty skin parts and good meat parts to make it gel when cooled.... we put it in loaf pans to set....we then slice the loafs to eat on bread or with crackers!! I love how Maria made her meat supper with the stomach casting! 🙂

In the South, United States we call that souse. It’s done a little different, instead of putting it in the stomach they put in loaf pans. Then after its cold it is taken out of the pan and sliced. They also serve it hot, like a soup and it’s usually very hot( spicy). You’re a Great cook and I know you don’t cook like that for only you. Always watching from Panama City Florida, USA. 🇺🇸

what a logistic task! a lot of hard work! it looks great! we make it too in czech republic. as a kid i considered this too ordinary and nothing special. but later i started to like it. best for joints, tendons and ligaments 🙂 although our typical tlačenka (or sulc) has almost no fat but a lot of gelatine. we use rather trotters. but this is inspirational idea...
