One key device is that pot. It’s very thin and flimsy but it heats up super fast and cook instant noodle in a jiffy. It’s also the serving bowl so one pot takes care of the dish. I bought one on Amazon and use it all the time, highly recommend.

I need to try this ramen! I already love shin, but the Samyang being cooked looks delicious. I can’t wait to vacation in Korea and try all the wonderful street food. Everything is so clean, neat and organized. What an amazing country

Between 76 & 80 I did a 16 month tour and a 12 month tour and one of my favorite things to get was deep fried sweet potato slices with ham slices cooked the same way. And the sauce for the sea snails was to live for...

We have korean noodle shop like this near my university! I love their ssamyang with heaps of cheese and dried seaweed on it. It's delightful 😊

That and American hot dogs, which they love. The Seoul American Army commissary manager [he was Korean] was fired and arrested for black market activities in 1988. CID estimated that he sold four times as many hot dogs off the loading dock to Korean nationals than he ever did to Americans through the actual store - ALL cash transactions.

一時期日本でも海鮮系の居酒屋で提供してた時期があった。確かサッポロ一番の塩ラーメンだった。それはそれで良かったと思う。

I add spam, sausage, kimchi, tomato, spinach to my instant noodle. My kids always want it for lunch. I only make it once a month.

Why only served it once a month? Are these Korean noodles poisonous or non nutritious? You are depriving your kids rights to edible foods. If it is unhealthy foods, I am absolutely sure the government wouldn't allowed it to be sold for public consumption.

There are ramen noodles that are air dried and not fried, but you have to read the package label to find them.

15dollars??? Korean instant noodle costs only a dollar per pack in Taiwan. But I think it's because consumer price are much higher in US.

Might be better off making it at home, but still if you need something simple yet effective, that's not too bad a price for instant ramen while out and about.

It also saves you from having to buy certain ingredients yourself. Lots of these stalls add fresh kimchi, fresh cabbage, chives, bean sprouts, sausages, eggs, cheese, etc. and that keeps the customer from having to worry with buying extra groceries.
