When replanting the tops, do you replant the bunch of three all at once? Like do you pinch all three stems with your forceps and plug them into the substrate at the same location in one motion?

It comes down to personal preference. But there is an advantage when spacing stem plants by 2cm apart. The roots will not complete for nutrients, and in turn cause less roots stringy "aerial" roots to form floating about with the water flow. "Aerial" meaning the roots can form at any node point of the stem plant, if you multiply that by say, 50 stems, pretty much an eye sore 😅

What is that circular air diffuser thing called?? I'd like to buy one

The air diffuser looking thing is called an algae steriliser. The brand is Twinstar and the model is Shrimp50. It's super expensive though. Not too worry, there is a cheaper alternative brand called Chihiros Algae Dr. You can find it on Amazon or any good aquarists stores that stock good aquascaping tools 😁

hey, kinda unrelated but where's the best location to place the co2 diffuser if you have a HOB filter?

Unfortunately HOB filters have weak water outflow which don't sufficiently "push" and distribute CO2 bubbles around the tank. Having said that we recommend having the CO2 diffuser all the way down in the aquarium on directly under the outflow of the HOB. You will loose more CO2 with HOB than distribute unfortunately. A fix would be adding a powerhead to "push" the CO2 around the tank ☝️

@@NORIaquaCh I don't have a canister cause my tank is only 10 gallons and I have 2 HOB running simultaneously, Ive tried to put the co2 diffuser right below the HOB intake and it seems to get my plants to pearl but I still don't get that "misty water" effect I see everyone else have on their tanks... my rotala only pearls in some areas where its planted...

@@gallardo20000 Try adding a small powerhead to distribute the CO2, it will solve your CO2 diffusion problems ☝️

@@NORIaquaCh I will be returning the HOB and picking up a eheim 2211 canister tomorrow, any tips on how to diffuse the CO2 with the new unit? I won't have an inline diffuser for now

@@gallardo20000 Eheim filters are the best. Simply place the CO2 diffuser directly opposite side of the water outflow ☝️
