Took a while to come up with words, could hardly take in the collaboration of these women. Individually it takes a minute to grasp the talent here but together it blew me away. Miranda, you’re brilliant, and creative you’re voice enhances everything you touch. Ashley, simply spot on...perfection. Tenille, where in the world have you been, unique and hypnotic..Caylee, you my dear are here to stay! Maren, oh my, killed it....period (as usual) and Elle, really??? 🤯 While I wanted each solo to never end the harmony is a finely tuned instrument that can’t be described. No ego at all, just some cool musicians hanging for a day, (looked like a blast) creating a masterpiece. Elvin is proud...

At the risk of holding black Aces .n. black Eights I'm thinkin there is likely alot of people who knew it is a cover or "remake" --- yet I also believe that only a select few could put the name of the artist who originally recorded it to the song itself... (It's easy for me to remember because I was married to a guy with the last name "BISHOP" & I assocoate his first name with Elvis >> ELVIN ~ ya it's a bit on the cornball side of things but I went thru several brain surgeries over the years due to an impaired driver crashing into my cattle wagon. I lost some of my memory but lil things like that has helped me regain the majority of it) I appreciate you posting your comment/question - I honestly had never heard this version of it but I do like it.

This is beautifully arranged. No one is cutting across each other. The harmony's are blended perfectly. Really a fantastic arrangement. To have so many solo artists blended so well is awesome.

My husband thinks I've gone crazy - the link to this song is on my taskbar...and I've played this video over and over again just to enjoy the chicken skin it gives me!! Maren, Tenille and Caylee - wow, just wow! Elle and Ashley - you two are beyond insanely awesome and Miranda, OMG, you are the queen of awesome. For you to put together an event like this and to be so humble to share the spotlight, just shows how generous you are, how big your heart is...as if there were any question. I'll just go back to working at my computer and continue to press the -> to play this video over and over. And I'll admit this right here - when I'm alone at home working I crank you guys up to max volume and sing along BADLY but with gusto...and my 64 year old hips get into the action too! I LOVE this video. Thank you to all of you who worked so hard to create something this incredible.

Love Miranda! She's been preaching for years and years (especially if you go back and rewatch her award acceptance speeches) about women in country music and empowerment, and for years she's been leading amazing collaborations, whether it's pistol annies or featuring other women on her singles or asking them to join her on her tours! She's so amazing!!

I'm a soon to be a 59 year old man and I remember listening to that song when it came out and I can tell you that this rendition is as good if not better than the original. Great collaboration with all of the artists. Here's to hoping that you all will do more like this. A big thanks.

Agree, outstanding female collaboration here,..... like you, I was around and impressed when Elvin's original went to #3 on the top 100 American list in about '76. I only disagree on one issue, the 'better thing', no offense meant..... Bishop's guitar solo on his Gibson is a thing of real beauty,... haunting and piercing. At that time, Elvin was already an accomplished Rock, Blues and Country musician and guitarist. Howlin' Wolf's lead guitarist, Big Smokey Smothers, taught Elvin blues guitar in Chicago. Mickey Thomas, who sings lead vocal on Elvin's Hit, is responsible for nudging Elvin to include it in their recording session in Miami, and the recording engineering of their song is just excellent. That said, I tip my hat to these ladies for their powerful and soulful vocal rendition of Elvin's biggest hit. You know one of the things I love about Miranda, As big as she is and as amazing Solo Artist , she stays humble enough to give others the spotlight with up and coming artist. Had no idea this song was re-recorded. Instantly took me back to my adolescence spending time at the skating rink and falling in love with my first crush. Lesli Goss. One of my all time favorite songs, with one of the best bass and drum tracks ever (as a bassist and drummer, I AM a little biased). This version honors the song, keeps its heartbeat intact, and didn’t try to turn it into something different. A fitting tribute to Mickey Thomas and Elvin Bishop.

It could never be good as Elvin Bishops original version..The best cover was played in the Grammy awards ceremony in 2004 or 2003.The young Keith Urban ft E.Bishop. Keith sang amazing and both played the beautiful guitar solo. I like Miranda and all the other Great vocalist. They are fine singers. I just think that it's too much show off. Like a competition

I just absolutely love this video. Not only are all the voices amazing, but the work that went into this song is obvious from the video. And the arrangement and instrumentation is incredible. I watch this over and ove and then come back to it time and time again. I wish I could sing!!

OK now this is probably the best version of this I have ever heard! In order to cover this song, you have to have an awesome band, and this band was on point baby! Most of all them sisters from other Mrs are singing their bootay off, it was almost as if their voice joined in with that band, as if it was their own orchestra of instrument powerful to stand out!! awesome awesome awesome

This has got to be one of the GREATEST compilations of all time! I listen to it nightly, and I can’t get over the balance, harmony, and overall rightness of the sound.
