@@MasterIceyy mate I’ve been going since 1973, been a season ticket holder since 1976, I’ve seen it all including being 1 of the 29-000 who were watching us in 1998-99 when we were at our lowest whilst that vile lot were winning their treble, we were losing to York, Bury, Wycombe and Lincoln, we had to take the most terrible shit, but we stuck by them, dug our heels in and continued our brilliant support. It was a pretty desperate period, but going through such adversity has made what we are seeing now all the more satisfying. We cherish every success, we respect every opponent and unlike that lot across the road , we take nothing for granted. Arrogance and entitlement will be left for those abhorrent rags. York city fan here. I remember man city fans and their passion back in the 90's. Even relegated us in the 99 season. I worked (and still work) with quite a few city fans and to see the clubs fortunes from those days to now is incredible. Couldn't be happier for a bunch of guys that followed their team loyally through the shit times to see such an amazing result.

Goldbridge saying City bought the UCL. So bitter. And factually incorrect - in the table of net transfer spend in the Prem over the last 5 years, City are down in 10th position - £225m net spend (compared with revenues in of around £2.5bn over the same period btw). Man United are 2nd in that table, with a net transfer spend of £540m, and the only reason they're not the biggest net spenders is because, this season alone, Chelsea have splashed out £600+m. So City have far from "bought" the UCL, credit should be given for how well the club is being run, which includes a comparative efficiency in the transfer market over the other top clubs. Just look at all the big-money duffers Man U & Chelsea have signed recently, it's almost unbelieveable. Meanwhile, City are picking up Haaland for £53m (buyout clause), Alvarez for £15m & Akanji for £15m. In addition, both Chelsea & Man U have a higher annual wage bill, and lower annual revenue, than Man City

United didn’t create much because both defences were class all night. They both had about three or four half chances in an absolute grind of a match. Everyone talks about the money but when you compare clubs of the EPL even with excluding city compared to other clubs in the top 5 leagues, the class of cash flow is a huge difference. They won the treble fair and square while playing good football. Live with it.
