@@by__elijah I think it cancels future transfers that are already settled like Endrick to Real Madrid etc. but also gives you only the players that are actually in your squad at the start date of your career, so for instance Aston Villa would still have coutinho if you start during preseason? Not 100% sure though

dropping FM23 for free on epic was a smart smart move, give the guy who decided that was a good idea a raise because the last FM game i played was 19 and i would not have bothered with 24 if it wasnt for getting to try 23 for free, im now looking forward to 24, FM has made some pretty good progress and ill be buying 24.

@@Flatzn was they? I don’t remember, maybe I didn’t pay attention with 20 due to having 19, I typically don’t usually get sports games on a yearly because of the lack of progression, I mean I’m playing fc24 too and to me it’s pretty good but then I skipped like the last 4 or so games.

Good improvements in FM24 compared to FM23. 7:01 I think the 2nd setup is the most obvious one for me. My save will be Málaga this year. Or maybe a club in Brazil, never managed there. Can't wait!

I'll be honest this is the first one for years I'm actually really looking forward to 💯✌️👌. Played since the very first Amiga manager games with the plastic disc to open the game on a floppy disc! To watch it gradually get better, and to this point of realism is something to look forward to indeed! Well done guys and can't wait for the beta, and the new game in general!

It will be good to see chairman mode or sports director mode,or you start working in youth like coach then move in first team something like that.

I can't see them adding in a chairman or sports director mode, but Youth or B/reserve team management would be good. You can be the one recommending players for the first team instead of the other way around. Having to negotiate responsibilities and transfers with the main manager.

Save transfer is a feature long overdue, finally able to continue my journeyman saves to the new games. Hope this feature continue going forward as this will changes how people especialy low committed player (who dont have 2000 hours time of our live to play 35 seasons with obscure 5th division clubs from some minor former uni sovyet nations) play the game, i can just play 1-2 or 3 seasons a year then wait for the new edition without needing to started all over again. Preordered !

i hope there are some improvments in defense. For example defending balls over the top and that your team is shifting and tighten spaces

7:05 - Am I right is saying that 'Original' means for example, Harry Kane starts off as a Bayern player even though he wasn't there on 1st July. 'Real Life' means he starts off as a Spurs player, but is scheduled to join Bayern on 12th August (game time), and 'Your World' means he starts off as a Spurs player with no future transfer date?

You already can - the formation you set is your team in defence, and the roles you select dictate the formations and positions the players move into when in possession.

"Original" is every player bought in the winter transfer (or after) is now at their new clubs in preseason. So "real world" is lets say: Barca buys a player in the winter transfer then after that i start a save with "real world". The player would then be at the original club but saying "joining Barca at X time? Also if more transfer happens in "real world" mode after i start my save would it then be updated and happen or is it only updated up intil my save start date? And "your world" is just original but no winter transfer update? Do i have this right?

I think is is based on this. Harry Kane for example joined Bayern Munich from Tottenham on 12th August in real-life. If the game starts on 1st July, Original means Kane is a Bayern Munich player, because that's where he is at right now. Real Life means he starts off a Tottenham player, but on 12th August transfers to Bayern Munich. Your World means starts off as a Tottenham player but with no future transfer arranged for Bayern Munich. I could be wrong though.

Original means all transfers are already at the club. Your World means that transfers happen in your game on the date that they happened in real life.

I'm slightly confused about the real world mode. Obviously transfers already arranged for the future (like Endrick) will happen at the same time as in real life. But what if I'm already in 2030 in the FM world when a team makes a signing in the upcoming January window?

Doubt it would work like that cause that would just be stupid. 99% confident that it'll just simulate all the transfers up to the current squad update. So when it releases we will simulate all the player movements from this summer window, once we pass January irl they will do a squad update and we will have to make a new save if we wanna simulate it with that. I would be surprised tho if they do more squad updates per year then usual for this game mode or theyll just keep it to the , 3 or 2 i think, squad updates per year. Its a cool feature to have when the game receives its last squad update but i personally might not use it for my first save.

@@bobbyboucher1509 It seems a waste of time then in that case. It will only be a real world mode for a couple of months between summer and autumn until you pass the date in the real world, and people won't want to start new games constantly.

@@Martin-88 yea it’s something interesting to have, but it wouldn’t make sense if you were in the year 2030 and the irl January transfer window rolls in but a third of the players are retired in game. Like I said, it’s more of a feature for those who do multiple saves through a year. Also pretty sure transfer budget is depleted too, so imagine waiting till the last squad update, starting up a save and then having no ability to make transfers for a year. I would rather have them make it possible to start on different dates with updated squads instead of having the same start date

⁠@@Martin-88also the only new feature is the game mode of having ongoing real transfers throughout the save, otherwise original is well, same old fm, and new world is also same old fm but just selecting the 1st database that the game came out with, the only difference being summer window transfers not through and the transfer budget being at its max . People act like it’s a revolutionary thing

Features I think we should have but still don't: Camera view that's eye level at the dug out Referee able to make human errors and/or VAR. Both of these would increase the realism, no good giving me the option to criticise the ref post match if they always correct

var was already in. 2023 has it for sure. in fact im pretty sure its been in since 21. Eye level camera would be an astronomically bad idea, a game like FM does not have the visual quality of fifa, you would be watching a bunch of blank faces running around in front of you, were lucky it looks the way it does to be honest since the majority of the focus is off pitch.
