Its horrible from the camera controllers aswell the team had to form a human barricade around him to save him from that humiliation they should have changed the camera to the fans or something instead of showing him in that shape

As a Dane I would like to pay my deepest and sincerest respects to Finland. I cannot find the words, that fits the situation at hand. I am so very ashamed of the danish crowd in Parken, boohing at the Finns when the game resumed after patiently waiting more than an hour. Fully deserved win Finland, i am sorry that this experience will be your first in national football, but you did us respectfully. So much love to everyone for the collective support from the Finns and everyone else on and off pitch❤️🙏

I don't think they were booing at the fins. I think they were booing because it was almost unimaginative that anyone would or could play soccer after that horrifying ordeal with Eriksen. I don't belive it was towards the fins. But more likely UEFA. That didn't give them a reasonable choice. Either finish the same day or the next day. None of these were great choices and then they decided just to play it over and be done with it. So I think you got that wrong.

Last 2 years was devastated with Covid-19, Maradona passed away, Eriksen's injury... But moments like these make it memorable, all respect for Kjær and his teammates covered when Eriksen fell down, Finland was absolutely the best.

And Kjær didn't give him cpr, he made sure the tounge was not blocking the airway. When the doc few seconds later arrived Christian talked and had breathing, and then the heart stopped and then cpr. from the medics 👍 and yes a Finnish dropped the flag to help cover Christian on his way out. And not one of us will ever forget the Finnish fans did for us with support, love and encouragement ❤️🙏

It's crazy how fast UEFA can have the cameras switch when a pitch invader storms on, yet they carried on televising and filming Erikson, and the players themselves had to form a human shield instead. Disgusting!! Thank heavens he is doing better now!! Even the footage shown here is heartbreaking enough! 🙏♥️

@@Yao686 I get that, I do, I just think that once they knew something so serious was happening they could've just switched the view to the commentators, who in turn could've gave a running commentary of what was happening and just explain that they would update as and when they could. I just think if the players themselves were trying to shield Erickson, not only from the cameras etc but more so the crowd (I would imagine!) Especially for his family's sake, That they could've just switched the live feed view.

He received a ban for it. From lipreading alone I'd say Alaba said something like "Marko, denk nach. Hör auf." which would mean "Marko, think about it. Stop it.".

I'm from Ghana and the day that Christian Eriksen fell off, me and my colleagues near were grasped with fear and tears in our eyes. What more, Diego Armando Maradona the super great made me cry within and shed tears when I was alone, after hearing he passed away, cuz he only celebrated his birthday a month before where every football fan in my country was celebrating him on all the sports channels in Ghana😭

Not really. 'Sterkte' means something along the lines of 'stay strong' or 'get well soon'. So when he said 'Sterkte jongen!', Lukaku more or less said 'Get well soon man/buddy!'
