Crazy because I went to watch a Portugal national team play at estadio de luz prior to the rebuild and it was absolutely massive I went a 2nd time to watch a qualifier against Switzerland recently and while it is still big I feel the old stadium was much bigger for portugals biggest club side how ever the facility’s at estadio de luz are phenomenal

I love when they don’t eradicate the stadium fully but leave traces orbit like they did at highbury or bökelbergstadion.. so it won’t be completely forgotten

6:37, the stadium has the same hole that the old Texas Stadium in Irving, Texas. The old home for the Dallas Cowboys.
