I think 17/18 is probably my favourite they’ve ever worn, but that run of dark red shirts were all superb, and the first year of Nike was quite good as well with the teal trim

Funny that because as a City fan that’s been going 30+ years I, and most City fans I know, hated it. It wasn’t our colour combination at all, yes it was sky blue in the main but sky blue, navy sleeves, sky blue shorts and white socks isn’t a combination City have ever worn.

You do know the reason United have blue for an away kit? In the early 20th century Utd were so broke they couldn’t afford a new kit, so City gave them their old kit to wear for a short period of time and ended up lending them the money to buy a kit. It’s why Utd have they tradition of a blue away kit and why City fans call Utd “the Rags”.

Contrast from the grass is very important, and that way teams looks more powerfull then they actually are, i do not like white and fade blue colors, for example Man City, Lazio, Real Madrid kits. Even when they play great it just don't look brutal like black or darker colours (Barcelona, Arsenal...) Red, black, dark blue... the best looking kits, also the angle of camera is important, more high camera is, it is the more beautifull to watch, Barca, Red Star stadium, Schalke, HSV...

IMO Liverpool’s last season yellow shirt was the worst. The Ronald McDonald similarity plus the ugly trim pattern is just horrible. Good thing they release it on the same year as one of their best looking third kit ever.
