I am from Spain and lived in Dortmund since October 2010 until July 2011 because of my Erasmus university degree. BVB won the league after many years without winning. I just cannot explain with words what I lived there. The atmosphere was just INSANE. For me, It was the best year in my life. A mixture of the Dortmunders (the kindest people I have ever met), the fact that BVB won the league after so many years and... Living there being 21 and a young student, with its nightlife and all. Dortmund, forever in my heart. Ich vermisse dich.

I’m so proud of this club. I fell in love with the Polish trio because they made me be proud of my nationality. Through them, I fell in love with the club. I’m from the US, and soccer isn’t as loved here than in Europe. I had the privilege to go to a home game this season, and it just so happened to be the best game of the season; the 4-0 win against Leverkusen. The emotions that I felt were insane. The scenes in the stadium were things I’ve never seen before. I’ve been a “fan” since the Champions League Final loss, but my trip to the Westfalenstadion truly cemented my passion for the club.

from an american fan who latched on through the young attacking talent they had in fifa 08 and then watched them when i could find them illegally online on my computer. watching the genggenpressing of jurgen with ilkay shinji hummels gotze kuba persic etc furthered my love and passion for dortmund. as the years passed and more and more matches were on telly and fox sports and whatnot it was easier to watch more. falling for new talents like reus and lewandowski and auba and dembele and PULISIC. obviously we had our peaks and valleys but i'm a detroit lions fan (if you know anything about them they are prennial losers) so i know the quality of loyalty. i had the chance to visit dortmund and signal iduna park this past season. i have been to the locker room. i sat in my favorite players lockers. i just want to say i appreciate the club. i appreciate the loyalty of the fans. i appreciate the identity of the club. the hard working blue collar type is the same of detroit. on spieltag it was a home match against gladblach....6-1!!!!! hat trick from auba, and a goal from weigl!! what a fantastic result. a beautiful game. a beautiful stadium. a beautiful club!!!!! this video is a great wrap up of the walk through tour and shows the stadium and does a fantastic job of telling you about the club. (albeit in a very short way.) just watched the boys in chicago just on friday. ECHTE LIEBE. excited for favre. excited for this next season. DANKE DORTMUND. YNWA.

I was there at the Yellow Wall when they played Mainz 05 (13 March 2016) and one of the fans died during the game. The whole tribune went quiet I had no clue what happened and just found out shortly after. Some guys who had no idea tried to sing and was quickly shushed. It was beautiful and authentic. Dortmund fans are the best.

So cool fan from Servette Geneva living in London, looking forward to see what Lucien Favre will do with the team. And if possible I'll try to get a ticket to experience it in the Dortmund stadium this season (Easyjet and Ryanair and Germanwings etc are cheap), last I was there for the Brazil Ghana match at the World Cup 2006 (somehow I was able to buy the ticket from some guy outside the stadium) and I was sitting in the middle on the last row.

Lovely video you can feel the guys love coming across so much its beautiful, I must admit that as someone that travels everywhere watching Chelsea FC every season home away and overseas when the draw is made I prey that we get Dortmund but it never happens, I have been to Schalke your neighbours and loved it there when we won 5-0 lovely stadium too beautiful people down to earth feel to the town, I hope one day I get to come to Dortmund and experience the world famous yellow wall

Auch wenn das Video einen Marketinghintergrund hat und ein paar Fakten durcheinander geraten sind, bringt es die Dortmunder Fanseele sehr schön rüber. Lässt mich für einen Moment vergessen, dass es mittlerweile nurnoch um Kohle geht.
