September, 2021. Watching this after his penalty save last evening vs West Ham, keeping that Mark Noble shot out to save 2 points for us. ❤️ Love this guy. Forever.. forever... will. Saved me, and many like me, from a lot of sleepless nights throughout our twenties. A club legend....!! Badly want him to get his hands on another title in the United shirt before he hangs his boots.

That mata free-kick save was out of this world. I don't think anyone could hit a better free-kick than that. It was in the top bin and yet De gea saved it. I have never seen a better save in my life. Never watched a save this many times.

Plus he has saved us many of times and its not like hes complete dog shit its just the fact that his handling has been poor and hes lost confidence which can always be gained back but i would say he needs to be forced to fight for his place as number 1 GK but we would never completely drop him he saved us too many times for us to drop him .

The best thing I like about De Gea is that he doesn't just save it, he places the ball into safe places away from the goal or strikers. He is thinking one step ahead. Saved Utd so many times. Need him back to this level.

There was a point in his career that I was so confident in 1v1 situations and shots from 18 yards out that there was no way they were going in. In 2020, I'm on the fence about letting him go but there was a point in his career where he was so jaw droppingly stunning. Its a shame we couldn't put a better team around him. He won't go down as our greatest keeper but he may be our best ever keeper.

Ive said it before and I’ll say it again, de gea’s 17/18 season was the best season by a united player in the premier league era. It was quite literally a Messi-like goalkeeping season. He should be remembered as a club legend.

He is the man who made united hold a position in middle of the table for at least 6 seasons , else Man U was supposed to be team languishing in lower half. If anybody says he isn't among the great goalkeepers then he is either ignorant or jealous of manchester united. If anybody says he isn't the best goalkeeper in last decade or isn't premier leagues best of all time , then please show me a keeper who is in the team of the season for 5 out of last 7 years , despite his team not being a title challenger.

Remember when he first came to United. First two seasons were like we need someone better. The goals he conceded near post were a big concern and remained for a few years. Never imagined he would play so many games for us and save us so many times.

The man spent his prime serving a mediocre team and bailing them out countless times, when he very well could've collected a few champions league, la liga titles and establish himself as the Spanish number one,... Crazy how many people are giving him sticks for a dip in form, he was one of the world's best keeper for 5-6 years, give the guy a break!

He’s actually played so great so far, sadly Ole can’t even put a competent CDM duo causing him to concede so he’s only got 1 clean sheet in the PL so far
