Not only was Alexhino the world champ at the time, but he is also FootboxG's favorite beatboxer and the main inspiration for him to start beatboxing in the first place. That is why FootboxG cries at the end. He was in shock. Imagine beating your personal hero and the world champ at the same time! Also I am pretty sure Sho-Go did not "drop out." If I remember correctly he was unable to attend due to Japan's covid travel restrictions. "Europeans are dangerous." *cough cough JAPAN cough* ;) Next to France Japan IMO has the craziest talent in the world.

I think everyone would unanimously agree that France is and has been #1 when it comes to beatbox for a long time and Japan is pretty up there but I don't think they're number 2. You gotta remember Korea, USA & UK. I personally think countries ordered by bbx lvl would be: 1- France 2-USA 3-Korea And then I'm not sure whether I would place Japan ahead of the UK or vice-versa.

Please react to hiss vs river' gbb21 battle...they were so polished! I guess the issue (in my opinion) was that alexinho felt a bit under prepared for his rounds... it's so cool to see a battle where both the contenders go ham at each other and be super prepared... It's mostly 3/4 or 6/8. Seems like a Waltz

First section was best counted in 3/4, or perhaps as a three bar phrase. Later on he adjusted the time to sound like 6/8, but that’s because you can easily move back and forth between 3/4 and 6/8 because of the usage of hemiolas (different time signatures that eventually line up again).
