Halos wala ka ng makita ng nag gaganito sa mga school except kung buwan ng wika. Thank you appreciating one of the cultured dance in Philippines although its not kind of dancing in that way but At least you cultured Philippine folk dance. Thank you so much, Lovelots from Mindanao Philippines.

Even during our Lolos and Lola's time, tinkling step variations were being done. In my Lolos time when crossing the clapping bamboos they used only one foot.

Actually as I know it is part of curriculum to learn it. During buwan ng wika (august) they put each batch in a competition or any performance, and everyone like it.

Ay tumahimik ka nalang boomer, tinikling is a requirement and most schools if not ALL schools in the Philippines require their students to dance this dance or learn about it at least once. Besides that, ano ang gusto mo? Mag tinikling kami sa bahay for tiktok? Gusto mo ba everyday Filipiniana and barong tagalog din? Gumagawa ka ng problema sa wala. Yan nanaman kayo ang toxic mo puta tumahimik ka nalang.

I am so proud of them! At least they are all in sync, with a twist of modern steps or moves, better than I can do it myself which I uused to dance our cultural dances in the past when I was younger. I loved watching them & felt their energy & enthusiasm. Good job kids, it was very good & entertaining. I am so proud of you all. Mabuhay!

They had lots of fun doing it! Love it! Tinikling folk dance is performed bare footed not only to add grace to the dance but also to showcase the risk if a performer lacks the skills.

Buti pa mga banyaga nagagawa nilang gawing modern dance yong tinikling. Dito sa atin naging boring kasi paulit ulit nalang Ang style. Kaya kunti lang yong sumasayaw niyan sa ngaun dito sa pinas. May napanood pa akong sayaw nila jan sa US Ang Ganda at Ang Gagaling modern dance den Ginawa Nila.

Noong grade 1 pa ako, sumayaw din ako SA school Ng tinikling.. ako Yung bida nga Doon Kasi kinarga pa ako SA kawayan.. patatayuin Sana ako kaso takot ako SA heights Kaya umupo nalang ako SA kawayan.. pinapayungan pa nga ako SA sayaw na iyon.. ahahaha good thing na experience ko Siya noong kabataan ko ahehehe #probinsyana

Cool version of tinikling. FYI: Tinikling is named after the tikling bird, common in rice paddies& forest thickets. They have thin & fast legs,that's y it's called Tinikling. Coz ur legs have to be fast like the tikling's or you'll get caught in the bamboo trap.

I hated this dance before because we do the whole routine with blindfolds and it really hurts when you miss one count😂😂 but after awhile you get used to it and commit less mistakes

Made in the philipines pero di gaanong tinuturo sa school bat sa ibang bansa mas gusto nilang matuto,nung nag grade school pa lang ako siguro isang beses lang yon tinuruan kami.ngayon wala na di na itinuturo sa mga bata

They have pretty good steps and sequences! I especially like the part where they slid the bamboo poles like the hands of the clock in 1:50. I wonder who their choreographer is? Great work!

My classmates and other seniors in the same section that are from the Dance specialization has to dance folkdances every quarter (when we get our grades) while the other specializations Visual Arts, Glee, Rondala have to prepare something too. It's fun too watch and kind of nerve wracking cause most of the dances they do are difficult and have stunts in them* like jumping on a stack of benches.

alot of mistakes.... looking down at the bamboo, wearing shoes and not wearing traditional garments.... but all in all its great to see other culture take interest in my proud country's folk dance more over thinking of having a modern twist on it... A+ on everything... not SS+ because of the three I state above

The Filipinos in our country made it look easy but in the back scene of all this, they have to practice all over and over again so their foot will not get stuck on the bamboo sticks. We have our losses and wins.

Here in Philippines TINIKLING is our national dance, national fruit is MANGO, national bird is PHIL EAGLE.. I think this guys are all phil am or not? But im smille while watching this video..
