My Grandmother is going to be 98 soon and her faith in Jesus shows in her as well. She never complains and even hums hymns when throughout the day despite being in pain. A beautiful woman all around....love her so much.

She didn’t preach it. She just lived it, that’s so profound.

At the doctor’s office, I walked around the corner and there sat Ruth Graham. I’ve never seen a person that had that amount of love in her eyes. It was like looking into the eyes of Jesus.🥰

I was blessed to be able to meet Ruth Graham in 1977 when I worked at the Ridgecrest Conference Center...my girlfriend and I went up to the homeplace in Montreat, NC...while parked outside the gate...Ruth drove up in her Mercedes convertible...she asked us to pray for Billy...and we told her we would...when we told everyone back at Ridgecrest...some were in disbelief..haha! I thank God for arranging this once in a lifetime meeting with a great saint of God. My sister worked at Christianity Today and knew Ruth's father. God later moved me to China for 14 years as an undercover missionary ...teaching ESL at universities. I was able to share the gosple after I became friends with some of my students...yes, there was persecution...but it was well worth it.

Yes, yes, yes, I’ve been blessed!! He saved me in my 50’s and from that day I have no fear of dying!! I Praise him, worship him, love him and thank him every single day and all through eternity. The thing most people don’t understand is the freedom of mind, body joy that comes with accepting Jesus into your life. You have to repent and mean it; you just can’t say the words, because god can see into your heart!! He knows if your sincere in asking for forgiveness of your sins! Before I was saved, I thought for decades that I already was when I took my communion classes in church. But when I was 12 years old I acknowledged Jesus died on the cross for my sins, what I didn’t do, was really open my heart and ask for forgiveness and ACCEPT Jesus into my life and my heart!! Their is a big difference! I can’t live a day without him! Jesus is addicting, that’s hard to believe but when your saved you want to live a life like Jesus. You ask yourself would he he be proud of me? Is this the way he would do it! God bless to everyone in the world.

And yet some of her children had struggled with there faith in Christ so much. They walked away from the Lord at various periods in there life, but thank God for a praying mother like Ruth Graham.

I was privileged to meet Ruth one summer day outside her home in Montreat. I was saved many years ago, Praise Our Lord Jesus, but this film has touched me more then I ever thought I could be touched. I have never heard Billy Graham or Ruth Bell Graham speak as a young person; having been born Catholic. But I have grown spiritually over the years. Pastor Joel and Victoria Osteen brought me to Our Lord Jesus many years ago. Their simple love of Jesus and words of hope literally saved my life. Our Lord has kept me close for the past 10 years. Little did I know that it was Dr. Graham who paved the way for the spreading of the World of God to all. I have been listening to Dr. Graham recently, and his message is so beautiful. I cried when I watched Ravi Zacharias as he shared his remembrance of Dr Graham. Dr Graham and Ruth Bell Graham are two wonderful people whogave so much, took so little and shaped the worship of the faithful worldwide. I see now that this family and their ministry made my church, The Crossings in Chesterfield Mo, and Lakewood Church (via web) possible. Praise the Lord and thank you The Graham Family for sharing Jesus with us. God Bless you all.

What an amazing woman!? She sets the bar high....what an inspiration she is. Looking at Ruth and the woman that she was.....I see how far I have to go. She raised amazing children that all love the Lord. Her acceptance of Billy's absence throughout so much of their marriage, with never a single complaint (with FIVE small children to care for alone) was Christlike love and devotion. I loved her wit, her keen sense of humor. She was a true, shining and beautiful asset to her husband.

Wow, since there will be no mirage in heaven. I wonder what will their first reaction be when he finally sees her. We all have an appointment with death that we didn’t make. We cannot treat or escape it. Let us all make our calling an election sure. Let us be ready when death come. Indeed these are the last days and we need to be ready NOT GETTING READY cause the not sure if we’ll get the chance to take the next breath after this one. Jesus is Lord.

24:20 my nana had cancer and beat it once. she fell and broke her leg while babysitting her grandkids. after that her body could no longer fight off the cancer like it had been. not too long before she had passed away i walked up to her while she laid in the hospital bed and said, “hey nana…” i then grabbed her hand and she said, “hi babe” we were quiet for few seconds while looking at each other. i could feel the tears coming from within me. right as i was about to let out my tears she said, “you’re looking good babe” i held back my tears and said “thank you, nana” in all honesty i wasn’t looking good… i was dressing completely different than how i should’ve been. around that time i started wearing jeans that were ripped and baggy. i began to smoke and do things i’d never thought i’d be doing and am not proud of. my nana said what she said during a time when i needed to hear it most and i’m sure she knew that. maybe in her eyes i was looking good no matter what i wore. she deserved the best and she got it when she passed away and went happily with Jesus Christ!

What a blessing from God how these two met. I never had the pleasure of meeting Billy Graham's wife Ruth Bell Graham. It would've been an honor. But I did get to meet Billy Graham in person as he appeared in Fresno for one of his preachings. I even got to shake his hand. I told him It was an honor to meet him. He was much older. I was in my early 40's and Mr. Graham was I believe in his late 70's or early 80's. I had known of Mr. Graham since I was about in my late teens. He was about the only preacher I would listen to. He was a true child of God. May they both be RIP.
