Foozogz and Prince are two of the oldest musicians in the fandom who are still kicking out top quality tunes, so to have them finally come together and create something for us is a dream come true! It's only fitting that this is the opening track of our most recent album, Skyward. With incredible vocal melodies sung perfectly by Prince and some pop-influenced industrial and happy hardcore sound design, its a unique experience that tells of a pony missing their dearly departed. The first time I was exposed to Foozogz was in their collab with Remember Falling (at the time, Sights Unseen), Out Of The Forest, in Awakening. It remains one of my all-time favorites. I think I first heard PrinceWhateverer in his song Solidarity (We're In This Together!). Now, they have come together to bring us an epic and inspirational song in Heavenbound. Awesome job, you two. Keep it up! Brohoof! /)

There’s what appears to be a gunshot at the beginning of the song as the intro. Followed by Sirens and radio chatter at the ending for the outro. Believe what you may I think this song is about someone’s struggles with losing a loved one before it eventually became too much and they committed suicide. It’s dark I know but it’s plausible
