Why do you guys think that Sadhguru is praising coffee here? He is saying that coffee is enslaving and people are surrendering to coffee. "daybreak means you, not the sun." so people who drink coffee only wake up after drinking coffee and not when the sun rises. So those are all negatives.

Every morning I sit alone in nature and meditate. Every morning is very similar, the rising sun rays in my face, the tree tops dancing in the awaking breeze. Every morning starts with me making my coffee, moving outdoors, sitting in quiet and separating myself from mind and body. Always aware but removed... I always remember the first sip, but seldom remember the second or last sip. This is my way! The interesting thing is, even if its raining I still feel the sun, and I still taste the first sip of coffee all day long. I wish you all a long rewarding life, where you all are aware of the gift of life, and the joy of self awareness.

So grateful for this Sadhguru. I have been a coffee lover since childhood, the smell the taste, everything about coffee seems magical. As a practitioner of yoga and Ayerveda I have made great effort to become a tea drinker always thinking it was more spiritual somehow. But time and again I come back to coffee and with your blessing I will continue to enjoy the wonder and splendor of the coffee bean

I’ll never forget the caffeine headache I had when I was skipping coffee and doing Inner Engineering. I eventually had enough and snuck over to Starbucks and downed a small cup. I couldn’t let any of the other participants see me and I was hiding in my car, but it was worth it.

The last time I broke the habit of coffee, I had a headache for 4 days. It was worth it. I drink it occassionally now and don't feel any compulsion to drink it.
