Thank you for the support! I am in 12th grade and here is some general advice from my experience: 1- EVERYTHING is online. If you are looking for help in ANY area of filmmaking you can find answers for your questions by looking them up on google or watching youtube videos. 2- Do what YOU love. Filmmaking is a difficult skill, like many other things in life. If you want to make films, be prepared to be sometimes frustrated, upset and tired. However, despite these negative emotions, it is ALWAYS worth it to stick it through. The reward for doing what you love and getting good at it is more powerful than anything money can buy. No one can take your skills away from you, and it gives you purpose in life. 3- See if you have an Audio Video class at your school. If your school does, join it. They most likely will have film gear you can borrow and will help you learn the basics. Good luck on your filmmaking journey! I wish you the best.
