Dear Evan Hansen is one of my favourite musicals. I got the chance to see the incredible production with the insanely talented Ben Platt and I was just completely blown away! I was so inspired after seeing such a remarkable piece of art. The entire soundtrack is unreal! I literally sing the soundtrack every single day lol so I thought I would put a camera in front of me and post one of my favourite tunes ;) I hope you enjoy!! to be honest he probably wouldn't. he is a very good singer and much better than me, but compared to the other singers on dear evan hansen he can be very whiny on the high notes and he cant belt nearly as well.

JustJames totally agree. Also if you listen at 4:15 you can hear some tuning and he would have to put a lot of autotune on his vocals for it to react like that. Also just saying his stance is not great. He still a fantastic singer but still. Also I know this comment is old.

I feel like this cover really captures the innocence and the youth of Evan's character. He's just making it up as he goes along and thinking out loud about a friendship he wishes he had. He's just an awkward kid and this really captures that in the best way.

Seriously so beautiful, I’m sure it’s obvious to everyone in the comments that you’re incredibly talented and passionate, I’m willing to bet you’re about to get a lot bigger before long. Personally i really really wish you would do just one raw cover, I think people would be even more impressed knowing that you put yourself out there without any kind of audio editing.
