I kinda feel bad for Bai Jue at this point. He did his job as a true god to help Shanggu gain her powers but in doing so he pushed her into the abyss. Tianqi love for her is so pure/genuine that he was willing to die in her place. What a dilemma. Save the three realms or Save the woman you love. By the book Bai Jue has never gone against the ancestral god. He's always followed the rules but now it's Shanggu's life at stake This is quite the dilemma for true god Bai Jue.

I absolutely fell in love with this show and Zhou Dongyu and Xu Kai! Mind you I liked Xu Kai since "Yanxi Palace" but his role as Bai Jue /Qingmu in my opinion is the best so far. Zhou Dongyu's portrayal of Shanggu /Houchui is equally great. They are definitely my absolute favorites plus TIANQI! 😀 Anyone have any idea of when the sequel I heard about is going to happen if at all? I believe I read it's about their son Yonqi
