Memories are the meaning now. When I was a kid (57 now) The little Drummer Boy was my favorite Christmas show. Sitting on the floor in front of the TV watching it, eating popcorn, while my foster mom painted the manger scene on the big front window of the house. Loved ones come and go until we die, but nothing replaces the memories that their love gave us.

I'm so so sorry you've lost so many. My older brother passed in September, and I feel the loss. But Christmas is about the coming of our Savior, and this song reminds me that even if what we have to offer in praise to Him seems small, it matters. Christmas can be such a hard time for many, so I pray you will feel Jesus comfort you.

This may sound odd to some of you, but this non-religious man very much appreciated the depth and richness of this group's interpretation of the Little Drummer Boy. It was a welcome clarion call after nearly a decade of overt hostility to Christmas and tradition in the United States. So, may I end with a thank you and the wish of a Merry Christmas to all.

Amen! Praise the Lord! The Bible come to life in our day and age and in living color! And some affiliated churches do not believe in using all instruments in their services, they are missing out I’m beautiful talented people that can play these instruments.. I take the whole Bible and use it for the glory of God and believe the whole written word not just parts of it. So thank you Jesus for your word and how there are folks who use the whole thing.

As a drummer, i literally get chills every single time i watch this 😭 I'm a part of a small church that's just starting out, but I told my pastor that we have enough drummers to do this. Hopefully next year we can do this 😁

My husband and I volunteered with Compassion International at the fKaC/Casting Crowns concert in Pittsburgh. We were setting our table up when I heard the opening sounds of this song. They did it first and I wasn’t prepared for it. I dropped my stuff and told my husband I had to go see it. I ran in and got to see this song played in person. It filled me with such joy that I cried. It energized me so much that I went out and helped the team of volunteers sign up sponsors for over 530 children in poverty. I’m a chronic pain sufferer and I’m almost completely home bound. Just being there was hard for me so the energy this performance gave my soul was truly God sent. Thank you Joel and Luke for a night I’ll never forget.

For almost 35 years i never care about this song (little drummer boy).. I never try to listen carefully about this song.. But, since you played this song with the style that i believe from the Holy Spirit, I knew how this song make the bigger change in my life !!! I’m just a poor boy, but i try give my best for Him.. Eat your heart out Pentatonix, your version was previously my favourite, but this version of Little Drummer Boy is like 10 times better. I only wish it went on longer. Oh well, the repeat loop works too.

I am really a person that likes to stick to tradition. When I first heard this version, I thought, wow, too much noise! Yet, something made me replay this over and over. I now can't stop watching this video. This is my absolute favorite Christmas song of all time because no matter what times we are facing, it is still true today. No matter how many times I've listened to it, it is always a tear jerker when the phrase "I played my best for him" comes because it is reflecting how we treat each other here on earth, how we honor Jesus our Savior. Great job King and Country! You pulled it off really great! Can't wait to see you play it Dec. 6 at Cedar Park Texas!!!!! Got my ticket ready!!!!

I think it’s their enthusiasm. You don’t feel like they are just a band putting their spin on a Christmas song, you feel like they are putting their heart and souls into honouring Jesus. They inspire you to be like the Little Drummer Boy and do something with love, from your heart.

OMG.... OMG...OMG.... (tears of emotion) this is the BEST version I've heard. I had an album of a German boy (Hienje) singing this song as a child. It's been played as a tradition every year for over 40 years.... You just topped that.... Sending a link to my family far across the sea this season - Such a powerful rendition

Little Drummer Boy has been a favorite of mine since I was a kid. When I heard this rendition a couple of nights ago VIA a friend on Facebook I was speechless and felt the very presence of God. This performance is powerful! If you aren’t stirred when hearing this, then my friend you need to make sure your still among the living. This has always been my favorite Christmas song. As it speaks worlds of truth about the humble state of man and giving what we can to our Savior no matter how meek and lowly it might seem. Thank you for this awesome modern hard-hitting version of the classic. Moved me to tears heard it on elevate FM this morning and was absolutely just overtaken the spirit of prayer and rejoicing and worshiping my Lord.
