If no chance of scratch by any other cat & the involved cat is still alive after a month, no danger of rabies. This child will benefit from preventive rabies vaccination. Three doses required. Available in all hospitals

പൂചയോ pattiyo നേരിട്ട് നമ്മളെ കടിച്ചില്ല. പക്ഷേ പേ വിഷബാധ അതിനു ഉണ്ടെങ്കിൽ അതിന്റെ saliva ഏതേലും സ്ഥലത്ത് കിടക്കുന്നത് നമ്മൾ അറിയാതെ തൊട്ടു നമ്മുടെ ശരീരത്തിൽ എത്തി വിഷ ബാധ ഉണ്ടകൂമോ . വീട്ടിൽ പുറത്ത് നിന്നുള്ള പൂച്ചകൾ കയറി വരാന്തയിൽ കയറി കടിപിടി കൂടാറുണ്ട്.

Rabies viruses cannot enter our body via intact skin. But can enter via broken skin. Virus rapidly dies on drying, so dried saliva may not spread disease

In general (not specific to rabies vaccine), Alcohol has a mild depressant effect on our immunity. Possibly not for milder ones like beer or wine in moderation. Better avoid alcohol during vaccine, though I ve not seen vaccine failure due to alcohol

ഡോക്ടർ.... എന്റെ വീട്ടിൽ പട്ടിയും കുഞ്ഞും ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു... വളർത്തുന്നതല്ല വന്നു കൂടിയതാണ് വീടിന്റെ മുന്നിലെ ഓടിട്ട ചെറിയ ഒരു ഷെഡിൽ... പേപ്പട്ടി വന്നു പട്ടിയെ കടിച്ചു.... പട്ടി രാത്രി പോയി... അന്ന് ഷെഡ് മഴയത് വീണു.... പിറ്റേന്ന് പണിക്കാരെ വിളിച്ചു ഷെഡ് പൊളിച്ചു മാറ്റി.... ആണ് മണ്ണിൽ നിന്ന് പണിയെടുത്തു അവിടെയുള്ള സാധനങ്ങൾ മാറ്റി വെച്ചു... വൈറസ് ശരീരത്തിൽ ഏൽക്കുമോ.... Pls reply sir.... ഈ മറുപടിക്കായി കാത്തുനിൽക്കുന്നു 😔

After full vaccination, any bite after 3 months require two doses of vaccine. Better not take any risk

Dr.. വീട്ടിൽ വളർത്തുന്ന പൂച്ച ചെറുതായി കാലിൽ മാന്തി.. പടക്കം പൊട്ടിക്കുന്ന സൗണ്ട് കേട്ടു പേടിച്ചു ഓടുമ്പോൾ എന്റെ കാലിൽ കൂടെ ആയിരുന്നു പോയത് അങ്ങനയാണ് എന്റെ കാലിൽ ചെറിയ പോറൽ ഉണ്ടായത്...ഇൻജെക്ഷൻ വെച്ചിട്ടില്ല.. ആ പൂച്ച 10 ഡേ കഴിഞ്ഞും ജീവനോടെ ഉണ്ടെങ്കിൽ ഞാൻ ഇൻജെക്ഷൻ വെക്കേണ്ട കാര്യം ഉണ്ടോ please റിപ്ലൈ.. 🙏 ഡോക്ടറുടെ ഒരു മറുപടി ചിലപ്പോൾ എനിക്ക് സമാധാനം ലഭിക്കും

Doctor I want to know if a person complete his 4 dose of anti rabies vaccine schedule is (day 0,3,7,28) then take booster dose (day 0,3), how long the person don't need to take vaccine again if he again bitten by a street dog.

The present recommendation is, need not vaccinate if bitten within 3 months. Protection actually lasts much longer, but since rabies 100% fatal, nobody wants to take any risks until robust data is available on long term protection. So as of now, if u get bitten beyond 3 months, take two doses, 0 & 3 day

Personally I advise all to take vaccine as a precaution before any bite. Cos street dog bite too common. Ur case, I don't think u will get rabies after 11 yrs. Still get vaccine as a prevention for future
