This is a great piece to work on. Can’t wait to get started. This is very different terrain from my homeland in Texas, where we very seldom see snow. So that I can understand, you added shadows for the fence posts. Is that a small hill behind them that you would see in a farming area? Also, the grass shadows don’t all go in the same direction. Is that artistic license so that they don’t look monotonous? I think it looks awesome just the way you painted it. Just trying to understand because, here on youtube, there is no explanation like we find on Patreon. I so look forward to the addition of your new videos. Do you add them weekly, monthly, or just when you have a new idea for one? You are quickly becoming one of my favorite artists as I continue my artistic painting journey.

Thank you Linda! This is a quite common scenery from where I come from. Yes it’s a hill and you’re right about the shadows. I try to upload a new video every saturday. Enjoy! 🙂
