I have to say I'm still crushing on my original DIY Mod Podge mix, but in this video I introduce a second recipe that I like, perhaps a smidge more! In this video I show you how DIY (or any) Mod Podge can save the day for delicate papers and cheezy 1980s greeting cards. This method can make a lot of shiny, otherwise unusable papers possible!

What about the old tins that have a raised top where the letters have a 3 D effect .. have you used any of them and had good results ?

Yes! I do use actual Altoids tins as well. You can feel the embossing with regular paper but can minimize it by printing your are on 110# index stock, or using heavy weight papers. Have fun@

Do you print the designs for the tins on cardstock or plain copy/print paper?

I mostly print on HP Premium 32 which is little sturdier than plain copy paper and it works well. Sometimes when using actual Altoids tins I also print on 110# card stock. It minimizes being able to feel the raised design of the Altoids tin.
