Hi. It's Pair! this is my first-ever cinematic video using iPhone 12 and Sony a5100 from almost 10 years ago. I'm not planning to get a better camera until I hit 10k because your girl is a brokie lol
Hope you like this video and feel free to share feedback :)
Thank you for watching 💌

Felt like crying watching this because it's exactly what I need to hear. I know how to lose weight, I know how to start connecting with people, I know how to stand up to my dad, I know how to learn those languages I've been wanting to learn. I just need to do it and actually do the work. Watching theses self-improvement videos makes me feel productive like I'm doing something (that's why I clicked on this video) but in all actuality I know where and how I need to improve myself. So thank you, I needed to hear this. I've subscribed and I'm saving this video so that I return to it every time I need this reminder.

Knowing how to do something and not doing it is because of your paradigme in your subconscious mind. I advise you to do some research on this.

hey be kind to yourself, take things even one small step at a time, and if things don't work out be kind to yourself and recover and then regroup and think about things you could do to gradually improve situation for you just doing the process of goals helps a lot too, and small steps with your dad, maybe think about why is it he is being difficult, is it because he is concerned about you or is he just mean? build your skills and learn things and maybe get a part time job and save up money in a secret online bank account you can use to get your own place one day it might take a while but having small sreps you can do will help take your focus onto the things you can do and dry you results through time i found that just not snacking between meals helps a lot, but if you excercise and get your movement up every day that will help you a lot to feel a lot better as it flushes out all the cortisol (heavy feeling biochemicals) from stress if we walk fast or run on the spot or do burpees for even a short time every day i hope life will be really good for you soon be kind to yourself is key though, and even just doing one small step towards making things closer to how we want them to be and fixing any issues that cause conflict helps a lot too what is it your dad is being difficult about? I'll try to help you with advice if i can, I've been through a lot of similar things so i hope you will be ok, be kind to yourself is key, you are dealing with a lot and there's lots of people telling us how we should be, but you be you, you are Great i bet Happy life to you

This is the only video that I needed to break out of my laziness cycle. Been doing nothing for a week, but surely watched tons of self-improvement videos already, and nothing happened. IT'S ONLY UP TO MYSELF, NOT ONLY TO THINK ABOUT DOING IT, I SHOULD ACTUALLY DO IT.
@Matt-fo4gg
@Matt-fo4gg 3 ай бұрын
Agreed, I think a lot of people get caught in those cycles. Same for learning art/software, an endless cycle of tutorials and never actually doing the thing. Since doing the thing is the scary part, what if it's not perfect, what if I can't do it at all etc. Also love all the creative shots you got, this is a great showcase for how underrated the A5100 is and you're showing perfectly how expensive gear doesn't really matter :)

You're so right especially with the fear. And when I end up doing those things, eventually it doesn't feel so scary or hard. It's just bc I'm spending extra time on it, which is completely normal. Smh the human mind sometimes...

relating a bit too much to the beginning of this video 😅 literally just went down a rabbit hole of self improvement videos while not doing any of the ACTUAL changes i've been meaning to do (and putting off) for months now. really appreciated this video: from the meaningful message, to the way it's shot and edited and i also did enjoy the "imperfect" audio by the water, it felt more... idk real? like a friend talking to me, more authentic and easier to connect, if that makes sense. anyway gonna put my phone down now and do some journaling and then go to bed for a reasonable time for once so thank u! 😊

hi Pair! we're about the same age and i think you're right - by that time, we KNOW what to do. I just watched a couple videos on how to get myself out of a rut, and the tips were exactly what I was already trying to do. it's just HARD. we know what to do, we just like the idea that someone has magically found an easier way. maybe I should just assume they haven't. thank you for this!

Hey, sis, I like everything you do here, so keep making these videos. And those questions you asked us are so important for us to answer. Are you willing to feel the discomfort that comes with a change? Every time I embark on a task, I am aware that it will be difficult, but when it truly becomes challenging, I tend to feel overwhelmed. At this point, I know that I need to lower my goal and be consistent in doing the things I need to do, but I often see myself getting back on the old track and doing the easy things like watching movies and stuff. If you have an answer for this, please share it with us.

there problem imo is not in the consumption, rather it’s with what and how much we consume. the most productive and creative people know they have to consume to get inspired and come up with ideas. but there’s a fine line between wasting time and getting to action.

I think you got such a cool thing going on here so I hope this feedback is okay with you! Totally ignore this if you already know, but for your audio quality in the outside shot, I have some tips! I'm thinking when you're recording a voice memo with your AirPods connected, it may be using your AirPod microphone. I don't think iPhone has the capability to let you choose your input, but I imagine there are voice recording apps that give you the capability. Or disconnecting your AirPod during time of speaking also works; it will automatically switch back to your iPhone mic, which is much better quality. To take it a step further, under the "Voice Memo" settings, there is an "Audio Quality" option you can change to "Lossless" so you get the uncompressed raw sound. This would take up more space, so that's just an option! Buttt if the sound effect was a deliberate design choice, then everything I said here doesn't matter lol!

You can do both. I like to watch them for motivation. Like when o was training for a marathon i was putting in the miles but I would also consume content about it to motivate me because it’s gets hard. Maybe I took it wrong but it’s weird that you’re discouraging ppl from watching videos that motivate them. I guess you’re referring to ppl who in my example are watching videos about workout motivation but NEVER working out. I will say watching too much therapy type channels eventually makes it worse because I was just thinking about all the things that’s supposedly wrong with me. Lately I watch a lot about self love and manifesting which I do need constant reminders.

you don't need "self-help" videos or books, you just need to be conscious and start small. if you have eat badly, use social media, have a bad sleeping cycle, just acknowledge it and start with the small stuff press pause, close your computer/phone, and read a couple of pages of that book you never opened :)
