As a for today fan I was shocked to see them singed to Nuclear Blast as well! I think it goes to show how much Christians are willing to actually support the missions of their favorite bands and actually buy the music! It's my opinion that's Major why major record labels are actually interested in singing Christian Rock bands. Even though its about making money, I'm not complaining, it gets the word out to more people either way and at the end of the day I am a capitalist.

I love this band, and I love what they stand for. I'm wrestling with the whole "God" question right now, but they did kick Sam out for the wrong reasons. Sam supported the traditional view of marriage, which the Bible supports. I just hope that this band isn't going away from writing meaningful lyrics, and moving to a place of, "wow! We're on Nuclear Blast now! Let's see how many European death metal fans we can get!" But, yeah, the thing with Sam was ugly, and it wasn't Sam's fault

+Caleb Begley they haven't changed, mattie is still on fire for the Lord. He still preaches and has 3 solo spoken word albums where he is essentially preaching

Blows my mind how people on the net are like , 'Are they still a Christian band now that they're signed to Nuclear Blast?', 'I knew something was off about this album', 'I wander if they'll still be as open about they're beliefs now'. Really people?? You think that Nuclear Blast signed an extremely open Christian band with the purpose of changing that? You seriously think that a label as supportive of the artists on their roster & their right to be extremely open and honest about their beliefs, opinions and encourage their artists to stay true to their art are going to turn to an extremely open Christian band and deny them that same freedom? you really think For Today would even sign such a deal? To Shun a Christian band because they're on a bigger more well-known metal based label is pretty much in line with thinking that a band cannot be 'Christian' because they play metal or that a Christian band can't tour with a 'non-Christian' band. That's ignorant & stupid .

Brandon Pratt 2 Corinthians6:14 Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness? Ephesians5:11 And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather reprove them. doing songs with secular bands gives them a platform to promote their garbage sure someone would probably be saved but at the sametime this can turn people away from God the bible clearly states that light and darkness does not go together so christian bands shouldn’t be touring with secular bands
