Superb acting in this scene. Love and completely identify with the way Bette/Jennifer tries to distract herself from breaking down by reaching for her glass and then the bottle. So true to life . She needs that time to try and compose herself. I also love how Tina/Laurel looks at her when she sees her mixing her wine. She knows Bette is struggling at this point but doesn’t make a huge deal out of it. I’m still optimistic that these two will get the ending they deserve

Man I’m so proud of Bette. After everything they went through, although Bette wasn’t perfect she always chose Tina in the end. So literally when Tina tries her classic indecisive sh*t by saying, “Bette” as if to elicit a more emotional verbal response. Bette Just reaches for her, looks in her eyes and says, “I’m really happy for you”. As if to say, I’m not going to make this about me like how you accused me of being, inside my heart is shattered, but if this IS TRULY what you want I’m gonna let you go, get out the way and face the fear to put myself back together again. The depth of Jennifer’s understanding of this character through her performance is amazing! This shows the true meaning of the saying, “If you love someone, let them go”. Bette’s love for Tina is SO DEEP!

This reminds me a scene in Season 2, where Bette was drunk and heartbroken, after Tina left. Alice and Shane had to carry her back to her bedroom. That scene was so painful to watch though we know Bette deserved it for what she did. She made mistakes, but in her heart, there is always Tina. She really can't live without her Tina.

Back in season 5 when Tina was in love with with Bette, she was able to still enjoy herself and date around, but Bette is absolutely incomplete and crushed without Tina, even though she tries not to show it, I always thought Better loved Tina more.

Something must have happened to make Tina feel she had to run away to find herself. Because when we last saw Tibette in season 6, they were completely in love with each other, were on equal footing, and looking forward to a fresh start in New York. They were going to get married (which they did and I'm pissed we were robbed of that moment) and were going to adopt. Bette even said she was happy to stay home with the kids and let Tina support them. Tina ran away from Bette and her daughter to find herself and fell in love with someone else. And now a year after being divorced, Tina is engaged to marry the very woman she abandoned her family for. I want Tibette back together. Their story isn't finished.

Well, my heart just broke for the loml Bette. I have never shipped Tina and Bette but I respected what their relationship was and meant, so this definitely made me feel emosh. I sincerely hope that Bette can heal, find a way to love herself again, and then maybe find a love that makes her feel secure and whole and happy once more or even better to be happy, secure and whole by herself.

Jennifer Beals is such a terrific actor. If the show is picked for a 2nd season, I hope the writers give her a story arc that allows her to show her range. That would mean moving on from the tired and ridiculous Tina relationship/storyline. It was great for the original, but now seems forced and dated. No more TiBette. Tina definitivamente tiene que encontrarse a si mísma y su espacio. Y aunque las dos habrán cometido errores en su relación, Tina no puede estar constantemente reprochando a Bette su dedicación al trabajo y que ella necesita más espacio. Poner tus esfuerzos en el trabajo bien hecho, es una virtud no una remorá, y Tina también ha dedicado sus esfuerzos a realizar su trabajo bien hecho. así pués Hay un espacio para el trabajo, un espacio para la familia y un espacio para la pareja. No se trata tanto de la cantidad de tiempo como de la calidad. Sabemos que esta separación de la pareja ha debido ser claramente por la escasa disponibilidad de Laurel Holoman como pintora. Y para arreglar está situación en la segunda temporada, espero que los escritores doten de una base muy profunda la reconciliación y no sólo de los celos si ambas tienen parejas. Un punto muy fuerte sería su hija Angie y si ocurriese un acontecimiento (accidente) alrededor de ella y precisará de los cuidados y rehabilitación de ambas madres, daría pie a conversaciones muy íntimas entre ellas. Y ahí podría estar la clave que todos deseamos "La Reconciliación".
