Well done Jen, very informative video on those berries, thanks! Keith, if you get to kill a deer this year, please show us a video on processing it and where those areas not to cut such as musk glands I asked you about it last year and you said to remind you when the season came back around, so I'm reminding you.

I think KZfaq tends to demonetize that type of video. A food show I sometimes watched showed the killing and processing part and they were completely demonetized. This might be a good one for a patreon only clip.

@@RamshackleHomesteadKeithandJen I am seriously jealous haha. I use spicebush for tons of stuff. I like to go forage some twigs in the winter when there isnt much else to forage.

Spicebush does grow in nyc the Wildman Steve brill mentioned it I think I saw some today I live outside of albany ny that's why I'm here looking at this video

No paw paws this year.. we blew it (critters got them all by the time we went to pick them). We did see a whole mess of them on the tallest paw paw trees we ever saw in S IL.. definitely too tall to pick, but they were gorgeous!
