He's from the 48th congressional district, which covers San Diego, CA. Illumina is headquartered in San Diego. I'm sure it's just a coincidence. In any case, his arguments were terrible and he was basically just making personal attacks on Khan. And to claim that the FTC should focus on robocalls... he's just trying to defund the FTC so that Americans can continue to get screwed by corporations

There has to be a rule, if you refuse to answer the questions asked before you, you should be suspended or fined there needs to be repercussions for there actions. If your job calls for your employees to do a certain task someone needs to be responsible for there actions just like any other job everyone answers to someone . *This is Ridiculous ,these hearings are a F*K*N joke, you Midas well not even hold them and each side do whatever you want, because no one is going to be held responsible for there actions. In the 1970's we were required to read in college the book called, 'The Peter Principal'. Read the synopsis, as it applies in today's hearing in Congress of how some overinflated incompetent people achieved high ranking positions only to have the rest of us try to unravel the confusion and destruction they caused decades later. Learn from history because if you don't we're doomed to repeating those same mistakes. Be good and be responsible especially ti those you love and stick to what you know best and do well at and when it's over your head you know it, reassess then step aside , but be positive and productive as best you can. Don't get too negative as it can work against you and always if you can help others to achieve their potential.

There is another option - stop saying “3rd party is a wasted vote” or we’ll have this two party forever. Just 10-15% of voters going 3rd party will send the message to both parties that the gig is , or about to be, up and one of the two, or both, will have to try and earn those voters

Just so we're clear, Darrell - There is no way in hell the FTC Robo-Call or Do Not Call List can be called a success or "something the FTC does well". That entire department should be eliminated as it is a complete failure and a giant waste of money. In the dictionary description of "useless", there should be picture of the FTC Do Not Call List org chart.
