I've loved Forbidden Planet since I was a kid. I've been to a lot of branches around the U.K. but the London one is an absolute Mecca for sci-fi/fantasy/comic-book nerds like me. It's one of the those stores you could easily spend hundreds of pounds in, if you have that kind of money.

An awesome insight into forbidden planet! Never been in however have bought online before, with the life is strange graphic novel comic things and also the Alice in borderland manga's which I only got into because of the series on Netflix which was incredible! I look forward to more videos like this one!

I remember when this was a single level shop back in the day off Shaftesbury Avenue, maybe Denmark St if my memory serves. It was all comics back then with signings in the shop on certain days. There was another popular shop I used to go to ‘Dark They Were, and Golden Eyed’ in Soho. Oh the memories

I have fond memories of the Dennark Street store, buying early Xfactor issues, and, attending a Chris Claremont, Art Adams and John Bolton Classic Xmen signing, that they held at the hotel around the corner. Then, I remember FP moved to New Oxford Street, before they moved to the Shaftsbury Avenue site.

Hello. In know nothing about retail stores. Does it sell merch at a lower price or it is expensive because it is a collector seller?

Hi, they have a lot of merch, so, you can see what you're buying but, truthfully, they are overpriced, but, it is unlikely that you will find anywhere else that sells the products in London.

I know you said they didn't get enough views and you were stopping them, but would still love to see some Pokemon pack openings or similar here and there - I really liked them!
