Actually, all professional eaters drink a TON of water because it helps them eat faster, so the milk could've helped him, he just used it wrong.

Lynix went about it all wrong. He should have just piled multiple donuts on top of each other, squished them as flat as possible to get the air out, then made them in to tightly compacted balls (you would be amazed how much air is in a donut, similar to a marshmallow). There were, after all, no instructions on HOW he had to eat them.

Kiply could have broken the furnaces next to the obsidian and liker on the chicken. One could have use the blocks in his inventory, blocked the chicken in a small box and then continuously hit it
