The Town: Coroner, Investigator, Lookout, Psychic, Seer, Sheriff, Spy, Tracker, Deputy, Trickster, Veteran, Vigilante, Jailor, Mayor, Monarch, Prosecutor, Bodyguard, Cleric, Crusader, Trapper, Admirer and Amnesiac
The Neutral Apocalypse: Baker, Famine, Berserker, War, Plaguebearer, Pestilence, Soul Collector and Death
Neutral Evil: Executioner, Jester, Doomsayer, Pirate
Neutral Killing: Arsonist, Serial Killer, Shroud and Werewolf

No worse than some of the other roles in TOS 1 and here. Mayor (elected official) nobody recognized until they "reveal"... and then there is the escort... who sleeps with people and they don't know who it is after.

Isnt it kind of strange how the baker works? Like if you think about it in a more modern sense, the baker knows they will kill everyone, but they have to pick 3 people to keep around longer. So if this was real, wouldnt that mean the 3 that are given the bread would be the people who have been friendly to the baker?

Baker can't bring bread to other Neutral Apocalypse roles so you may have to let up to 6 people live since 3 are your teammates and the other 3 are town or evils. Bakers usually want to leave town support claims alive for this reason.

I live the addition of these animations in tos2, it actually helped to introduce some friends into the game. Their biggest issue is was getting invested and so these add a lot of flair to newer players I feel and a lot of the roles feel impactful in a match. The animations also just look cool, I would love to see more unique roles like the other horsemen get some animations

Pipe, you missed why 13 did claim there - probably a panic tracker claim and didnt want any contradicting information. He was in the Psy will, with one of them already having claimed, and no other leads to go on so they would get pushed if they didnt do anything. Wasn't the best panic claim, but definitely the answer to "why did they do that"

I feel like they should not notify everyone when someone leaves the game especially if they do it on the stand it just gives town a free lynch and screws over evils

Soon once reconnecting gets added this won't be a problem anymore. Town will have to lynch people that disconnect on stand in case they try to reconnect after they get innoed. I can't wait for people to figure this out and some get away with it though

Whoa! I didn't realize you were there, Pipe! Good game! Edit: Yeah, I was a bit madge from a previous game where I was BG and the only TP, but a ret used tav to rb me, and then I got lynched because that same ret pushed me so hard. Coven swept the town that time.

As stressful as solo baker games can be, I actually like how satisfying it is when you get a successful D4 conversion and manage to lynch a breaded person and a breaded person dies to make it 1v1 and win. Also had a game where I accidentally posted two fake wills with what I assumed to be a 1v7 situation and I got by barely and starved all but 3 ppl but one of two breaded seer claims turned out to be jester so I won

I had a soul collector game earlier where 3 evils dcd and the 4th was hung day 3. ended up winning day 5 with no teammates and killed ~8 people with Armageddon

Recently. I’ve been seeing a lot of baker dominating games. Don’t know why the sudden shift. My only guess is with plague changes, baker can get going much better. Or bakers just getting lucky recently.

One game i played as the Baker, and i literally convinced the chat to just say Bread. It was hilarious, and i actively claimed baker to many people and we won the game.

Good games! The first game was sheer chaos and the second one just too funny by number 2 xd. Also love how in the second game number 8 didn't talk at all until the win screen (apart from whisper). I just find it funny xd.

I was 12 in that game and my PC locked up during the phase that reveals who got killed by who. I literally couldn't see or do anything at all. Don't even know how this game ends.

It would be both. If town gets a heads up that sc is lurking around they will try to hunt him down earlier, but NA's could steal the role of a cleaned person too. NA's slipping unseen until the transformation message gives town a heart attack feels thematic and not too far off from real life. War is in your face, but it is considered on the same level as a local serial killer, only being elevated in threat after it raged on long enough to reach your doorstep. Famine, Pestilence and Death are all ignored and left unchecked, dealing with them too late, only when they started affecting you personally.

@@skelskeleton Overall yeah, the plays it enables are very situational and require some luck, hiding the fact that sc exists is better in most cases. Multiple NAs are pretty strong, but solo ones could use a buff. Maybe baker could work as a PM, heal and/or reveal the breaded target. Maybe SC could work as a necro of sorts. Maybe PB could get more info, like how the plague was contracted (visit or visited) and from who. Any type of tools that don't automatically reveal their presence would work.

I feel like apocalypse roles should not be a team like Ww or sk (Ie they cant talk at night or know who the other is, but can still win with eachother). 2 or more apoc is already strong enough, and letting them cooperate with their very strong abilities like cov seems to be broken. Additionally the added pressure of a faction means they can coordinate votes in their favor - increasing the likelyhood that one of them can bring the apocalypse.

WW can visit now on N1 and 3 with it's new scent ability.

WW visits N1 and N3 now. They track the people they visit on those nights for the rest of the game (which is why Tracker claims are sussed for being WW).

@@Temperance_XVII that is fine. in most games with leaver penalties, first time offenders get something like a 5 minute ban. the punishment is only severe in repeated cases, where it cannot be excused with poor internet (or if your internet is so bad you leave prematurely all the time, you should not be playing online games in the first place, especially ones where a teammate leaving can seriously hold the team back)

I love ToS 2 but there are sooo many leavers every single game, has it always been this way? in other social deduction game ive played you could report ppl for that, doesnt seem like you can in tos, otherwise I absolutely love your content!

TOS1 has leaver penalty (banned from entering a game for a certain time. the more disconnects, the longer), but TOS2 does not have anything like that yet. still wonder why people leave D1. you SHOULD walk in with the mindset that you might not get a role you like and adapt then there are those who leave D1 as jester. honestly, if you hate playing jester just go afk and hope for the best. you never know what might happen
