Hello. You can see that at 36:24. It's a sphere stuck in a plastic. You need an extractor to get it out.

Ford requests certain quality tests and they are responsible for implementation in the car. The design overall is bad, allowing too much liquids to reach the area. But yes, if Valeo is the manufacturer, then they also should know better what materials to use there and not just make it to pass trough some tests.
